Yeah, the music in the first generation games was really unrefined. The second generation uses the same hardware but is a massive improvement in the music department.

Am I the only one who dislikes calling the first game in a series, "(game name) 1"? Like saying Sonic the Hedgehog 1 or something. I always say the first or the original.

Thing is, it was always hard to see in-game since the sprite would flash and move around a lot.
