Did Wario Land Shake fail because it was marketed poorly or did it suck? because I want to give the game a play.

@Haruhi Suzumiya It's a beautiful, hand-drawn masterpiece with tons of challenge and replay value. So much hard work put into it, yet it was ignored. Please give it a chance!

I posted this a few days ago....

Wario Land: Shake was a loner and huge risk when it came out. It should have revived 2D platformers on home consoles, but was completely overshadowed by Smash Bros Brawl and Mario Kart Wii which came out earlier the same year (2008). New Super Mario Bros Wii came out over a year later (late 2009) and started a huge rebirth in 2D platformers on home consoles. So Mario took what should have been Wario's crown a year and a half before.

2008-2009 Initial Release Dates:

2008 - JANUARY: Super Smash Bros Brawl

2008 - APRIL: Mario Kart Wii

2008 - JULY: Wario Land: The Shake Dimension/Shake It!

....................

2009 - NOVEMBER: New Super Mario Bros Wii >>> Huge revival in 2D platformers on home consoles

So today Ive decided to be brave and share my picture with all of you here on Wario Forums.
It took me alot to build up the courage to do this btw, so be nice ; _ ;

Haha, made you look : p

Btw, I was thinking about something. Do you think that people on the internet lack the ability to have just regular plain old basic meaningless small talk? I mean of course not like every single person who ever existed on the internet would be like that, duh. But like, I often notice that like some conversations online can be fun and silly, but then there are some that like, it seems that unless the person can make a well thought out, well informed statement, no one will say anything at all.

Ive been thinking about that lately. Are some people afraid to just let go and be casual and not care about judgement when interacting? Do they think that people dont care enough to just talk about whatever and have fun?

Hard to say. I've had plenty of conversations of silly or every day stuff I could easily have in person with people online. I think there is a level of comfort that needs ts and also just dhow chatty every person is. However, that is not much different from offline so again hard to say.

Every two Fridays we get Pizza, and today is the second Friday! that means pizza day, lol. Yummy!

That really depends on how we're all comfortable with each other. Over the past few months things feel like they're getting on track either that or nobody has anything to add. Just let time take it's course with letting out small talk here or there it'd be a nice opportunity to just have anyone chime in though.

The only thing I have to knock off is the game's soundtrack. It's not very good but it is leagues better than the music from Kirby's Epic Yarn(same composer as this game made music for Shake it). Another thing I disliked was the motion controls of the game, aside from these things it's alright. It is something to explore if anyone hasn't tried this game at least once.

People are either afraid or unable to, usually. The internet... it's not quite like real life in terms of communicating emotions. Instead of articulating and expressing... most emotions are conveyed through copy-and-pasted memes and videos and emotes. People retweet and like and share... just so few things posted on the internet is straight from the users mind or heart. And when it is, it's usually the opposite of being overemotional, inconsiderate, or just plain reckless.

I mean, that's what I noticed... at least in terms of the internet in general. If this is actually about the Wario Forums... Ice cream social?

Is small talk even possible with text? Most small talk is just to break the silence for a few seconds. It doesn't mean random or personal things can't be discussed though. Some days feel easier to talk than others for some reason.

Behold the power of voice editing!

You'll never watch anime the same way! xD
