  • Do NOT seek me for help with the forums anymore, I won't be exercing my duties as a moderator anymore, due to my lack of time and interest. Hope you understand.
That's it... go listen to the Wario stuff I did for you in the Wario Fan Work section please, because I didn't spend days on them to be ignored. If no one cares to do so then no more Wario music, fans suck.

Look BlueJackG, I can imagine that putting so much effort into your work can be frustrating when you have a channel with 3,400 subs while there are multi-million subs channels of people who just sit on their lazy asses playing games while talking about it. (But that's just my opinion though) but you shouldn't put yourself down when you post something and there's no response for a while. After all, there are still plenty of people on your YT channel, me being one of them, who like your stuff and are subscribed for that very reason!

Oh yes, of course, I'm not actually talking about youtube, I'm pointing at the forums. And I'm not pointing at everyone either, but I guess I got my response. Makes me sad but it makes sense.

I've had tons of projects I've worked on amount to almost nothing. It sucks but that's what can happen.
Try reasoning with the people you care about and you're seen as an insensitve asshole.

Look at Minecraft, for example. I remember introducing that game to my friends when it was still in beta. Now I can't even look at the game.

I told you to shut up but you didn't listen

Sure, I'll shut up. And next time they come to me asking why people don't talk to them anymore, I'll just say "I told you so". Fighting for the well-being of others should be a friendly act but apparently it's stupid. I can't even count how many times I said "I tried to warn you, I told you so", etc... but hey, I'm gonna be on the other side of the fence now. I'll shut up and watch them drown as they slowly see less and less people around them, to the point they have no one else to talk to because no one wants to talk to them since they're being so annoying.
SMO is pretty much perfect except 2 things: the lack of music in some areas make them dull, and the camera is god awful...
So who is Red? Blue in costume or a different character.
Hey Blue JackG, I want you to know that I really like your cover of Super Mario World, and I also saw that you made a cover of the Golem Mine level from Shantae that I also really appreciate. By the way, I have a suggestion for you: you should do an instrumental cover of ¨I'm Blue (da ba dee).¨ I know you made one already for SoundCloud but I think it would do great on your Youtube channel as well.
You know when the internet is a bit slow and your pic is just the image of Blue with her arms crossed it really adds to your authority as a mod. Like Blue is watching closely to make sure we don't graffiti this fine establishment.
We need to support creators more, but again, if the creators don't reach for their followers, those same followers will lose interest in them after awhile. It's two-sided.

Its hard being a youtuber Im sure. You have to put out things that people are interested in specifically in order to get them to watch your channel. I have channels Im subscribed to, and Ill often pass on one of their videos if its not something Im interested in. If I ever did yt videos, it would probly just be for friends, as I doubt many people share my interests, haha.

You do well, some people like to create, others like to appreciate what others create, but never do something you don't like.
The comment was mainly directed to people who are content creators and ask why they don't get attention. Well it's obvious that if you create stuff but never let yourself be known as a person, people won't relate to you, there's no warmth. Makes sense, right?

Yeah, definitely. Its always appreciated when content creators take a step to let their fans know they are appreciated, and that you listen to them. I always really like the ones that take the extra step to let their fans know they do, like Davie504, he often asks his fans what theyd like to see, and like accepts challenges from them. I had another channel I was subscribed to, called Nikateen, and he used to actually respond to his fans comments and junk, always thought that was way cool.

Just for those who don't get the idea of the Wario Forums Discord chat, it's not a place where we talk about Wario that often, it's more of a place to chill and talk random crap. Whenever an interesting topic comes up, we come here to make it a topic. If the forums is dying it's not because of the chat, it's general.

I'll be 100% honest here, if the forums are losing activity, it's at least in part because Nintendo has mostly ignored Wario as a character/franchise. At some point, a community dedicated to a certain inactive franchise is either going to have focus extremely hard on the fandom aspect (like with Mother and Starmen.net) or just deal with much lower activity (RIP any F-Zero forums).

It's not really social media related, because if you look up the Wario groups and sections there, they're also generally rather inactive for the same reason. if you look up Twitter, Wario Land and WarioWare aren't being discussed very much (even with Games Done Quick featuring Wario Land 4). Tumblr blogs for the series are pretty quiet now. Don't think Facebook groups for it exist. The Wario subreddit is so dead it makes this site and the Discord look like Times Square by comparison.

Honestly, for a site dedicated to an inactive series, it's doing at least okay. And once Wario Land or WarioWare make a true comeback, that's what'll probably turn it all around,

I guess I just find it odd that a leader of a community would be content with their community kicking dust around waiting for something that may or may not happen. It's not my problem I guess.
The episode of the Amazing World of Gumball, featuring a topic on SJWs, is just really well thought out. People get scared when you call yourself a SJW, they don't really feel confortable, and other just don't care and get "punished" the heck out. Some probably are SJW themselves but don't admit it because they don't intend to be so strict and getting the label.

Was it called "The Best"? I saw it on the 3 part video on youtube, I got a different interpretation from it, people going from genuinely caring for each other to merely trying to win arguments and gloat over how much more righteous they are than others : p

I think so, and it's pretty much the lesson they're conveying. But that point was made on the matter. If you look at it, it kinda all contributes to your interpretation. That's a good lesson to pass over actually.
