BlueJackG's Wario Music

I DID! Over here!! Hey Listen!:
Nah, I didn't. But I'm 100% all for it if you're happy to do it! :) Always great to expand my archive of Wario remixes (which you have occupied 40-50% of!)
This one from Sledgehog is my favourite WL2 remix. So beautiful and calm. Perfect for early morning!

That song is so beautiful! That's a nice remake! :D
Nice find! Thanks for sharing! ;)

Just curious, but what software do you work with to produce your music? I used to mess around with Fruityloops on my cousin's pc when I was very little! Maybe I'll mess around with it when I find the time. I probably won't finish anything though. xD

Well, I use FL Studio too! (Fruityloops)

Try something, too, I'd love to hear what you come up with! :)

Hey, we all start somewhere! Give it a go, you might have some hidden talent you don't know about! :D

Okay so I did try it out, here's my first attempt at Defeat Four Ducks: https://clyp.it/gkcdggdm

Reflection: It sounds a bit dull and there needs to be more balance between instrument volumes (that's velocity, right?). I wish I could give this a more spooky mansion vibe, but I don't know what could be added that hits the right spot. Perhaps totally different instruments.

Great! It's a very good song to start!

Sure you can play with the velocity as you said, the overall volume is good, to me. You should also try to add some reverb!

The notes are on point, nice job! :D

Oh wow, playing with reverb gives it a much less empty feel to it! What an awesome tip! :D

Here's my attempt:

Wario Land II - Syrup's Castle

Try to play around with the song, don't be afraid to add to it. Now, I'm not saying this is a good version, it's just my version. That's when I wait for feedback! hahaha!

Give it the feel you want, it'll always be cool! :D
I like it! You got those 'two notes at the same moment' (if you know what I mean by that) on point! It also has a more spooky vibe to it. I do think it's a bit too fast, but perhaps that's because I like to have it resemble the original too much.

I'm still playing around with mine. :) Can't believe how fast the time goes when you're really taken by this haha!

Actually, the original is that speed, at least the music I used (which I downloaded from Khinsider, btw). The tempo matches the original, so I don't know... Perhaps it's too fast for a remasteded version?

Anyway, don't forget to share the results with us here, then! :D

Yeah, I listened to it again and it is right indeed. Guess I developed a bit of tunnel vision there. Imscared:
Anyways, I came up with this: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0ByJDdRadu5z4TXU0X0VDaVB3LUE/view?usp=sharing

I felt that a harpsichord fits well with a mansion theme!

Now that's a cool one! Much closer to the feel of the original song! It works perfecly! To be honest, you don't need to change anything, you got it right!
Usually from that point, you can work on it for a more customized version, or remix it. But as a remake, it's exactly on point! Why not try other song now?
Thank you! :D I couldn't have gotten this far without your advice and encouragement, really!
I much prefer making remasters, I think. I'd like the songs to have the same feeling as the original, just freshened up. :)
