So what's the deal with these forums? It's about a Nintendo character and yet we barely talk about other Nintendo games. There was just a Nintendo Direct the other day and so I thought there'd be some discussion on it here. Nope. Just Puyo Puyo.

So I'm finally making a general Nintendo News topic where we discuss all the latest Nintendo... news. Talk about upcomming 3DS and Switch games here.

We have a Legend of Zelda thread, a Donkey Kong thread, some Super Smash Bros. threads, and we talk alot about new Mario games when there's one.
But I can see your point, an while I'm not into the latest Nintendo news I can still appreciate a thread for general Nintendo news.
 
Right I figure for any time we don't want to make a dedicated thread to a specific game and just talk Nintendo here.

So anyway, Splatoon 2 will be coming out July 21st. It features a new Co-Op multiplayer mode called Salmon Run where you and a team work together to kill a bunch of Salmon monsters.
 
New ARMS character was revealed. His name is "DNA Man" in Japan and "Helix" in English.

Welp it's real.
It looks so bizzare, but yet at the same time, i'm oddly intrigued by this, just to see how it all works out in the end, Because who knows, a lot of crazy crossovers have worked out in the past,
So this may actually turn out to be decent in the end.

Why fucking rabbids though, they could have Rayman in instead and it'll still work,
Hell they could make a story about how the Rabbids are invading both Mario and Rayman's world, and so the two have to team up to defeat them while traversing through levels based on both worlds
That would be flipping awesome to see, but noooooooooo, gah guess i'm just bitching just for the sake of bitching and i'm gonna be optimistic here but still....
What a massive wasted opportunity here.
 
I really wanted this to not be real, but meh, there it is.

For what it's worth the gameplay from what little we heard so far, sounds like it could be interesting, I'd be willing to give it a look for that alone, but I just can't stand the Rabbids, both for being annoying little shitheads and for what they did to the Rayman series for a good while.
 
Nintendo just killed Miiverse. And they don't plan on making a replacement for it on the Switch. Because whoever is in charge now is an idiot.
 
No more 12 year olds asking you to fight him over Wii U chat. No more cringey RPs with furry OCs. No more random stuff in the YouTube section. No more people posting a barrage of SMM levels as if they'll get noticed. No more funny memes exclusive to Nintendo fans, seriously that place is a breeding ground for memes. No more people yelling at Reggie to release Mother 3, No more people making Miis based on other characters like Eggman or something, what is this YT comments. No more bans from admins for no good reason. No more horny nine year olds harassing anyone with a female mii. No more people fawning over Nintendo waifus, no more kids cross promoting their YT and Miiverse.

In spite of all that, i'm gonna miss miiverse. and being a Wii U owner i can be among the few who can say that i was their from the start.
Part of an obscure site where people talk about Nintendo games. a unique place with interesting characters that many will forget but i didn't...... OH WAIT, WarioForums does that better. I don't care anymore.
 
Each game on Miiverse was its own little community. I could see what people were saying about the latest games or VC classics.

Honestly Wario Forums doesn't talk about Nintendo games nearly as much as I'd like it to.

It's like 90% Puyo Puyo in this section of the forums...

I made a freaking E3 topic and it has a whoping 18 posts. Meanwhile places like the DKVine was all abuzz with E3 discussions and predictions. Guess people were too busy posting in "Random Posts of Goofiness" or something.

I hate to say it, but as a Nintendo community, this place kind of sucks.
