How come 9 Volt and 18 Volt haven't been sued yet?

Seriously. Their games are all based on classic Nintendo games, right? And they're shown playing Nintendo games in universe.

But WarioWare Inc isn't Nintendo, is it?

So how are they being allowed to release games based on another company's property? Cause games on the app store don't exactly last long when they feature Nintendo characters, and the few fan works I've seen get screwed over have been ones where the creator tried to sell the thing...

But what do you think?

Because Nintendo is unable to sue a company from another dimension, and if they could, I'm sure the Diamond City courts would not even bother, for the judges are probably too busy playing WarioWare Inc.'s amazing games. ;)

Well, Wario Land does seem to exist as a game series within the world of Wario Ware (if Smooth Moves and DIY Showcase are any indication) and Wario himself has taken obvious inspiration from Nintendo games for his own microgames:

So with Wario being a Nintendo star in-universe too, I'm just going to assume that he has special privileges that allow his company to use Ninty's IPs in it's products.
