I want to get into LPing, so I did some random recordings

I'm interested in doing my own Let's Plays, but I have no experience.
Well, now that I've just purchased a new headset, I thought I'd give it a try.
But I wasn't ready to just try recording a real let's play yet, so I just did some random recordings, where I wasn't really taking myself seriously.

I'm interested in hearing your thoughts on these. Any sujjestions for improvement are welcome.

Well i'm only watching SMB DX but might i suggest balancing the audio, the game drowns out your voice. Other than that focus more on how good your commentary is as oppose to the technical side, you will improve on that front if you check each video and make an effort to do so.

So how do you like the hack?

There are a few flaws that you pointed out that should be fixed, regarding the green treasure room in out of the woods. I'll get to work on them.

I'm glad you are liking it!

One thing that you will notice is most layouts are very similar (the same) to the original, just with a few tweaks here and there. Many were not changed at all.

The hack was mostly for messing around with stuff. I wanted to add or remove things to levels while preserving the original layouts to make the game easier or harder. Only a few layouts were completely changed. But for the most part, the levels were just added onto, rather than changed completely.

I do not want to change certain things, like entrances, because it can break the game. This has happed before, where I messed up entrances, causing the game to crash when going into levels. I had to roll back from that.

I will have to start making improvements to it to make the experiences better for you and future players.

The earliest treasure that would, in my opinion, be very different than the original, would be the green treasure in W3 The Pool of Rain (The 15th treasure, provided you did not get any extras along the way)

The red chest room for N1 Out of the Woods (6th treasure) has a few unused tiles that I restored, like ceiling lights, smaller turning gears, and more!

The first super hard treasure in my opinion, is (Oh my goodness) the grey treasure (The 23rd required) in S4 The Steep Canyon. That one requires precise timing in your jumps, otherwise you will end up at the beginning again! That one took many tries to do! UGH!!

It does get better though!

I hope you take more time in it though.
