Ideas for a Wario Land track in Mario Kart?

Over the years we've had a lot of Wario themed tracks in Mario Kart.
Some of them had slight references to other Wario games (mostly Wario Shipyard).
But none of them were directly based on locations from Wario Land. We've only had a Wario Ware track in that Mario Kart arcade game.

So if you could make a Wario Land themed track which location would you choose and how would it play?

Me, I'd make one that takes place on Wario Land. As in Wario's Land. As in Wario's Island.
As in this one:

You would race around the island, through the castle, up on the mountains, through the lake and through the woods.
There would be mountains of Wario's treasure inside the castle and lots of enemies outside that act as obstacles.

What about you?

You know those tracks that are huge and split off into segments? How about they do that for Kitchen Island in WL:SML3

Section one: You begin at the shores off rice beach on some basic track and work your way to the area where the first boss is at then you go around the base of mount teapot, passing lack asparagus on the way.

Section two: After going around Mt. Teapot you make it to the bridge to Sherbet Land and after the bridge you go through an ice cave (by the by, seeing the WL enemies frozen in the walls in HD would be cool to see) and make through the cavern eventually reaching the bottom with its frigid waters. You'll find a canon blasting you all the way to the top of Mt. Teapot and you drive down a path and you see a canyon up ahead.

Section three: You cross over into stove canyon which is very hazardous and i imagine it being built similarly to a Bowser's Castle track but you are going slowly downward making it closer to the lava. At the bottom you need to pass a few more obstacles before making it to a hole which blasts you out of a waterfall with so rafts acting as track in the bay which will lead you to the S.S. Teacup where you work your way up from the bottom of the hull to atop the ship until you reach a canon blasting you to the skies

Section four: A section 4 is quite generous and unlikely but goddammit i just wanna spew about some crap that would make me gush. Anyways after being shot through a canon you land in Parsley Woods where you drive through the meadows and avoid getting hit by trains, like a certain Mario Kart track (the trains from the train levels in WL:SML3). You come to a big tree with an opening you drive through (another specific level) and after going through the tree hole you have to avoid getting hit by the electric cloud which will shrink you if you get hit (go figure) until you reach the second tree to drive through, then they'll leave you alone. You'll reach the area which the big rolling donut bombs (seriously, what are those) to avoid and you'll go through the door to syrup castle which is sort of like a big spiraling staircase, only dangerous. It'll have those eagle heads that shoot fire like the original game and when you reach the top the genie will teleport you back to Rice Beach and the track ends.

The problem with Wario is that he doesn't really have an iconic location that everyone says "Oh yes! That's from Wario Land!"

Donkey Kong has the jungle, Peach has her castle, Luigi has a Mansion... I guess Wario has his castle?
Wario has a ton of iconic locations, they are just different in every game.
In other words, you have to be repetitive to be sucessful.
Sad. :S-_-:

But they don't even stand out as much as the ones he mentioned do.

Really, I'd probably just go for a Gamer track. A model racetrack on the table inside 9-Volt's room. Just watch out for 5-Volt here and there, lest she make you crash or spin out. The opening riff would be the same one you hear at the start of every round of Gamer, as opposed to the standard Mario Kart one.

Or maybe as a battle course instead.

I disagree.
The Music Box, for example, is really memorable to me. Could you imagine a track that goes around the Music box?

Through the Woods and the Village, across the little bridge, over the plain, through the crayon hill tunnel, across the desert, passing the volcano's base, alongside (or better yet through) the pool of rain, through the City, up the ledge (with anti-grav) crossing the big bridge, passing the Tower, through the swamp, racing on the frozen sea, flying over the colossal hole, and last but not least crossing the forest of fear.
Some shortcuts or alternate routs could take you through the castle or through the ocean or through the canyon or maybe even into the warped void.
This could either be a faily short track with 3 laps or a more realistically proportioned version with each quarter of the map being a segment.

That would be amazing!

Golden pryamid track!

You start off driving down the tongue that Wario slided off of in the beginning and drive through the hall of hieroglyphs and make a loop around it and the trail should draw you towards each of the passages and each passage has rooms with nowhere to go but the portraits that you drive a ramp and jump into SM64 style and theirs a bit of track in each portrait showcasing each stage of the game and at the end of the track there is a portal that leads you to the next room directly into the next stage and after each fourth stage you make a loop back around that passage and the track leads you to the next passage, because of this each stage is short and sweet. After the Topaz Passage the track leads you to the Golden Passage and that leads to the one stage which is the longest track you will drive.

There may be a better way of doing this but my point is i think the Golden Pyramid is a great choice for a WarioLand track and anyone who thinks that Golden Pyramid isn't an iconic location is a heretic, HERETIC I SAY!!!

There could be a track from one of the Wario Land 3 levels (not sure which one) that has multiple split paths everywhere, like that one Yoshi track. It could be very nonlinear, like the game.

Of course, that could also lead to a bunch of confusion to the racers if it was TOO nonlinear, but a balance can be struck.

Also, lots and lots of coins. Like, there's never at one point when you don't see at least 3 coins on your screen at once.

Edit: (The Yoshi track I was thinking about was Yoshi Valley)

Your idea isn't bad at all. Just...don't abuse the term "iconic".
Is the SS. Tea Cup iconic enough for you? It's been in 2 games. Is that enough? How many times does something need to appear until it becomes iconic? How many people need to be able to recognize something before it can be considered iconic? If it's iconic to Wario Fans, doesn't that count?
What if I don't recognize Luigi's Mansion? Does that mean it's not iconic?
What does iconic even mean?
Is it even a real word?
How many times does a word need to be said before it can be called a real word?
Am I even real?
What if I call it a real word but I'm not real?
How many times do people need to talk to me before I can be considered real?
What does real even mean?
How many times do I need to be considered a word before I can be real?
If nobody recognizes me, am I even real?
I'm very tired.

You make an excellent point.

You having an existential crisis there?

My original post was talking about what gamers in general find recognizable from Wario series, but also what Nintendo themselves has declared a staple location to the Wario series.

So far only Diamond City seems to be a staple location.

Wario's castle has its fair share of apperances, not as much as diamond city but its when you see his castle you think WarioLand like how when you see diamond city think WarioWare. it even has the W so normies know its Wario, kinda like how jungles re flat out called DK Jungle in case it wasn't already obvious.
