I didn't choose the sludge life
Which is works harder, plays better, runs faster, and says strongest, Pc's or consoles? The debate that never ends, the argument that live forever, the master race that keeps going. Which one is best? Do you even give a horses buttocks? I can care LESS about what I play on. Some of the best games are on console only! The last of us, the mario games, and so much more! But game's on pc look and run better. And games on pc are BLOODY AMAZING! Portal 1&2, the Half Life series, counter strike, Tf2, the Diablo games, the doom games, the quake games, SO MUCH! So I do both! Why restrict myself to just one? I WANT IT ALL! All the consoles and the best gaming Pc money can buy! But i want to here what you think, All of you! Pc or console? Or both? FUCK IT I'LL BUY EVERYTHING! A copy of Mario Odysseus for switch? I'LL TAKE ONE! copy of Sonic adventure 2 battel for pc? I'LL BUY TEN!! HAHAHAHAHA HAAAAAA!! *clear though* sorry you had to see that...o_O

I personally like playing my stuffs on PC better, some PC ports of games, also emulating some consoles like my Wii & Gamecube games, i play them on Dolphin just to mess around with the settings, textures and other stuffs (i can add Wario to Puyo Puyo thanks to that!), but i can play on console just fine, specially on portable ones, so i'd say both are fine.

I don't give a horse's buttocks, because I enjoy the lot. The old home computers (ZX Spectrum, C64, Amiga), DOS/PC, home consoles, portable handhelds...

Even those cheap electronic novelties they used to put in the show bags at the fair, like the all-time classic "Brick Game". Loved that one as a kid...

Old school pcs eh? Nice! What are we talkin' about mate? Simcity? Jazz jackrabbit? Commander keen? Duke nukum? Any favorites in your head?

Yeah, that's a few of them, for sure. Then there's Six Feet Under, Agent X, Highway Hunter, GODS, Win Way Out, Dare to Dream, Carmen Sandiego, Spy Fox, a butt-load of Interplay games like Descent, ahhh... Gee... Far too many to name (or remember)! Hahah. I reckon I should give somebody else a chance to list a few.

Hey! Save some spotlight for the good old retro home consoles! Atari, nes, sens, genesis, n64 and the ps1! The gold ages of vidogame history! Show respect for the elderly, mate!

Im sure games run better on PC, but I dont really care about that at all : p If a game is both playable and fun, does it really matter that its /slighty/ better on a different platform? I really dont care : p

Also, I dont like playing games on PC. I like being able to relax in front of my tv, its really not the same as sitting in front of a computer for me. Ive never really had much fun playing games on a computer. I also would never want to play on a keyboard, it just feels awful. And even with a controller, I still feel more comfortable sitting in front of a tv, haha. PC gaming isnt my thing.

I think I would have felt that way even like in the 90s, too. Ive never cared that much for online gaming, which to me seems like the one big advantage PC gaming had at the time. Ive done it before, and I have more fun just sitting alone playing a game by myself, haha. Im not real big into online gaming either : p

I usually just go with whatever feels best when it comes to gaming. I think thats why I dont buy many Playstation games, Ive always really hate the controller, so I dont get as excited for their games as other consoles : p

I don't have a real preference and I feel like the arguments for and against for both have remained the same. Consoles have exclusives and ease of use. PCs have much more you can do with them.

PCs are usually a pain in the ass, I can never immerse myself in them because there's always the threat of something going wrong at any time. Bluescreens, running out of ram, my controller not connecting for whatever reason, flamerate drops, etc.
All of those problems and more..... yet PC's are consider better. I guess that how god intended it to be. How the world goes round. Sad.

I'm on both sides of course, but here's how I go between the two. On console, I mostly buy games exclusive to that console while the games that aren't I buy on PC. I have a pretty strong PC so I can run some of the toughest games like DOOM 2016, Star Wars Battlefront, and Quake Champions at the fullest settings with no frame drops, but then there are some games that has a terrible PC port. Console games as of this generation are honestly lacking in exclusive games, but at least there's the older console games to play on. (seriously, my PS4 is dying of nothing)

PCs are more work but for a better experience. Consoles are simpler for a simpler experience so its give and take.

Console gamers say PCs are difficult to figure out which is only marginally true.
PCs gamers say consoles don't offer enough freedom which is also only marginally true.

Its give and take i guess though i'd say PCs are better, not because of Steam or how advance the games are, but because you don't have to pay for online. Seriously PSN+ XBox Live etc. are rip offs.

For the most part if you have a powerful enough PC none of that is a problem unless you're playing a very poorly optimized game.

I got a pretty high-end Alienware back in 2012, and it eventually became marred with all of the above problems. I doubt it would be able to run whatever the kids are playing these days, either. PCs becomes very quickly obsolete if you're not willing to shell out tons of cash every 3-4 years or so.

While I do personally prefer consoles over PC for comfort reasons. (Plus Nintendo and PS4 Exclusivity)
Both are very good in their own way with pros and cons to each.

There's a couple different approaches to this. You could shell out a bit more initially for higher end parts that won't be obsolete so quickly. I do advocate PC gaming but I am in no way PC gaming master race sort of guy. I also enjoy consoles for what they have to offer and often find myself playing them more often.

I feel like consoles are a bit more personal, too. Like, its hard to explain, but theyre like cars. Each one is different, and each company that makes them is different, and each has its own like...... I dunno...... personality. Like, just looking at the major consoles from the sixth gen-

(I think we can all agree that Playstation makes the ugliest consoles)
Each one had its own unique design, and felt more personal for the people buying them. Like, you could tell who they were trying to cater to, and people knew what kind of gamer you were by which console you liked. And I like how the controllers are different too, cuz that also makes it more personal. I say all the time that I hate Playstation controllers : p I dont like the way they feel at all. I like that each console is personal to the person that owns it.

Im sure PC people could probly say the same about PCs, but like its definitely not as apparent : p
