Well Ive actually been wanting to add lyrics and singing to my music, which is actually the biggest thing holding me back on an album, believe it or not : p But Im not really good at either singing or lyrics, haha. I usually feel goofy when I try to do it, and feel discouraged, and thats the biggest road bump I have right now. I actually have many song ideas that Im super excited about, but wont record them because Im afraid if I do Ill never work on the lyrical part. But I actually do have two that are ready to go, lyrics and singing included. Maybe Ill record them soon and post them here.

And yeah, I use my pinky alot in playing : p Alot of the chord changes you hear me play, theyre really just me holding down one chord and moving my pinky around, haha. Even just changing one note of a chord can completely change a song entirely, I love that about music.

Well, there's never any rush to showcase your vocals. Don't be hasty and post anything you'll regret right afterwards. Just practice up and watch different guides on elocution exercises and singing until you are comfortable enough with your voice. There's loads of helpful stuff on Youtube, but I'm sure you already know all this!

When it comes to adding lyrics or vocals it is tough. I can't really do it myself either, it's as if you feel choked up about doing so. Hhhmm since you do have some lyrics done you might want to at least practice an excerpt from it while you play it'll help with that confidence in trying to play together with your strumming. It can be hard but don't let it get to you because like all things it does take that first step into it and singing while playing still seems new.

Crowbcat did a video on the new mass effect and this part seriously slayed me

Ive heard that the graphics and the uhhh... character motions are all over the place in that game : p And haha yeah those two aliens looked like children in a fight, haha.

And ew those shirts, I actually do support the right to own guns and all that (not that I like them, I actually hate them personally, I just think its wrong to take them from people), I think shirts like that are absolutely lame, not to mention they send the wrong message anyway. Threatening to kill people if they take your guns doesnt seem like the right message to send for me : p

So today while looking through pretty bass guitarists on youtube, I read a bunch of crappy comments about melodic bassist, like how "chords on bass guitar are easier than on guitar" and "they arent real bassists they jut gave up on guitar" and all that junk : p Of course I was grumpy, so I figured Id respond by showing what I, a melodic bass guitarist who never even plays guitar, can do on a guitar.

I just suddenly felt like sharing this story. But when it was first announced that EA got the Star Wars game license...I wasn't too amused.

But I remember telling my brother and sister about it. They didn't know EA for anything other than Madden at the time, so their response?

They joked about how they might put a regular football into a Star Wars game. It wouldn't have improved Star Wars games any, no...but it would have been a small improvement for EA, at least.

Again, they didn't know EA for anything other than Madden, but it was kinda funny hearing that reaction.

Well so far EA has been doing pretty good with the Star Wars games. Battlefront started out rough, but it's a great game to play now with all the added content. Here's hoping that new Star Wars game will be shown in the celebration in a few weeks along with the new Battlefront 2.

The most frustrating thing about being an artist is when ignorant people shovel you into generalisations like that. It's a total insult to your capabilities. I've always hated how so many people respond to weird, abstract, and surreal things with comments like: "The creators were high" or "Drugs were definitely used", etc. Even if they're joking, it's really ignorant, and shows a total lack of imagination (it also belittles the talent and mind of the artist).

They think it's impossible/unnatural to dream up weird, wonderful works without the influence of mind-altering narcotics. As an artist who's never used them it makes me...
