Should Wario be playable in a Mario Platformer title again...?

Platinum Games can handle a variety of gameplay style. Not just Bayonnetta style games.

The reason I want Platinum Games is their style, their edge, their humor, and animations.

We need a company that has the edginess to make a Wario Land game. Good-Feel seems to make things cute and easygoing, which Wario Land shouldn't be.

I wouldn't mind if say Platinum Games made a Wario Land game. They seem to be good at making over-the-top ridiculous action games.

I've said it before and I'll say it again.

WayForward. They are our guys.

I've been clearing a bit of my backlog and I've been on Dark Moon lately... and I think Next Level Games could make a fantastic sequel to Wario World.

Seeing the new 3D Mario only makes me hope that if we don't get a new Wario game announced tomorrow, Him being playable with Wario World-escue controls would absolutely make my year.

...But we have to wait and see if Nintendo will even acknowledge it's his anniversary tomorrow.

Let's be honest here: Wario doesn't need to come back as platformer. I would prefer not seeing another Wario Land title, instead of a poor excuse of a Wario Land wannabe.

I just want a new Wario game, it could even be Game & Wario 2 or the unwanted sequel of Master of Disguise, heck, anything new would do too!

However, if Wario Land made a brilliant comeback, I'd be in a dream, and I think I speak for everyone who grew up with the franchise here...

In the end, Wario should be back, that's all I want. The dang character is fun and awesome, we need him back.

Aw man, don't tell me you mean Shake It! That beautiful gem on the Wii with it's hand-drawn animation and levels, the funny cutscenes, the amazing music, and an ending where Wario throws the damsel in distress over his shoulder! Sure, it didn't have multiple endings based on your performance, but overall I think it was a wonderful entry in the series rather than a "Wario Land Wannabe".

Nah, don't worry, I love Shake it! I was talking about how Nintendo sometimes butchers their franchises, like what happened to Metroid...
I hope they don't release a crappy new Wario Land, and if they do, at least make an effort to make it good!

Ah, I see. Here's hoping that Wario Land: Farteration Force doesn't hit shelves next year
