So, which Mario spinoff will Wario characters show up in first?

Mario Kart is getting the DLC characters, but those seem to be more... mainstream choices like Link and the Villager from Animal Crossing.

Mario Super Sluggers is infamous for including a ton of more minor characters from the series, but that series hasn't had a new game since the Wii was fairly new.

So what Mario spinoff will first introduce Wario Land or WarioWare characters as playable anyway?

wii u mario's tennis is like... not impossible since camelot has referenced WW before and has been willing to dig deep into the mario universe for their sport games, but eh, I don't know.

if we're allowed to talk about nintendo games in general, tho, I have a feeling the WW cast (or at least Ashley) will next appear in this thing

Yeah, Camelot is probably gonna be the one to put anything WarioWare-related into a Mario spinoff. The people who put Wiggler, Nabbit, and Shadow Mario in their games are probably a little more open to adding the more unexplored characters than the teams making Mario Kart or Mario Party. Although those also have a history of some weird characters.

The Mario Kart arcade games are made by Namco (the creators of Pacman).

Yeah, the only unexpected characters in that series are just included for Namco representation. No obscure/poorly-represented Mario universe characters like Stanley, Spike, or K. Rool.
