I wanted to start a thread where everyone could vote for their favorite and share why!

I can't choose I love both equally, but I know a lot of you guys have a preference.

Please tell us which is your favorite, why it's your favorite and what was the first game in that series you played!

Follow this format:

Wario Land:
  • I love this series because I grew up with it and, to me, it's the best take on platformers, looking for treasures and collecting goods in a level, while beating up your enemies... Better than Mario to me!
  • My first game was Wario Land: Super Mario Land 3. In the series since de begining!
WarioWare:
  • The goofiness and entertainment value of that series still stands today, yesterday I played WarioWare Twisted and got a new high score. A good game to pass time and share with friends! Also the first game I compete with my girlfriend for scores! Perfect!
  • WarioWare Touched was the first of the series that I played, I got the ones before that later, and today, I never missed a Wario game.

I voted for both, I know it's a cheep decision but I like them both.

Ware:
  • The only reason I found this site was because of Ware and I like the characters more.
Land
  • I can't really judge though I've only played one land game being 4. Which I enjoyed but it didn't have the humor the ware games have.
Both(ish)
  • It seems like I should've voted for Ware but I gotta give the original series some credit as well.

Although I like the ware series my favourite will always be land.

Wario Land :
  • The quirky humor of Wario and his enemies alike not just captain syrup but characters such as Rudy and even Dunk were quite comical. Like getting dunk's reaction when you turn him into a ball or Rudy's funny face lift whenever you hit him back with his own fist made me laugh
  • Wario land also rewarded players on not only finding and collecting treasure but just the mini prizes that come along with it. Such as the musical CD's in land 4 or getting alternate endings, something that's quite different from the mario series. Wario land wasn't just a point A to point B game, you really had to navigate your way through various stages and puzzles especially true for wario land 3, knowing that certain key items open pathways to other worlds and stages.
  • Just above all else it's got some great tunes aside from the many rice beach variations from wl1 and 2 music from wl3, wl4, master of disguise, and world especially with wonky circus made it way more enjoyable punching and pummeling your way through various enemies.

Two different series, with two different gameplays and styles, but both awesome in their own way!
