Wario's height in Super Smash Bros.Bros.

You know what really bothers me? The fact that in Brawl and Smash 4, Wario is SHORTER THAN MARIO. What is the reasoning for this? Why make the big brute, Wario such a shrimp? I find this to be an issue because it's out of character for Wario.
Now I'm sure any Mario fan at this point knows that Wario is "Bad Mario." And it's for that reason alone that Wario NEEDS to be taller than his more friendly counterpart. Wario is to Mario, what Bluto is to Popeye. He's supposed to appear intimidating with his superior height and strength, but come off as more of a big goof due to his lack of intelligence and competence.


Am I the only one who feels this way? Or am I just REALLY over thinking this?

Too be fair. He is a cartoon character in a fighting game where Bowser is smaller than Ridly and most people wanted to see King K. Rool in Smash 4? lol Hopefully Smash 5 will fix that in the future. ;)
 
Bowser is smaller than Ridley. Assuming Mario is about 5'1", Bowser stands about 8'7", whereas Ridley is about 12-17 feet tall while hunched over.

That said, Wario is still supposed to be several inches taller than Mario, so I dunno what this size discrepancy is about.
 
Wario is ten feet tall, of course.
