Probs a new Warioware. We haven't seen or heard much of land in a lonnnng time, but Warioware is being kept a live in games like Rhythm heaven and Ashley is making a lot of appearances lately, so if Wario came back with a game it has to be Warioware...

that and I also want to see Ashley again.
So are you saying if a game series doesn't have a new entry in a while it should just end?

Oh, that's very stupid of you to say, BigMagma. Thread is asking what Wario game will be next, I said it'll be ware because it's showing up more than land, I never said Land should just end because it was a no show for so many years.

Not anywhere in my comment have I said "Warioware because Wario land ended because it's not showing up." I said, Ware will come out before another Land game, not that Land will ever see the light of day again.

Well the tone of the thread seems to be inbetween what people want and what is likely. What you were saying reminded me of how F-Zero gets shout outs in the Mario Kart series but the actual series continues to be dormant as if Nintendo is content with only F-Zero references.

I feel more teased by Nintendo's statements about that minigame, where they were like "Yeah, we could make another F-Zero, but we just don't feel like we can make it unique enough."

I'm just saying, right now (in my opinion) Warioware seems much more likely than Land, Land sounds like a game Nintendo doesn't want to rush into, much like Ware. But we've been seeing Warioware a lot these days, mostly through Ashley and other games.

I haven't seen anything Wario Land related since forever now, doesn't mean I said there won't be a new one down the road.

Just last year we had Wario's Mario Party 10 amiibo board, where the Land content outnumbered the Ware content by a sizable margin and Wario in Mario Maker, where his sound effects and jingles were taken from the first Wario Land.

We get something Wario Land related in other games on quite a consistend basis, yearly even, way more then Ware used to get until recently. So that argument doesn't fly.

Hard to say. I'd like Wario Land, but I'm not hopeful at this point. Even if it were a Wario Land game, I am not a fan of Shake It!, so it would have to be handled by a more trustworthy developer for me to feel safely excited. I don't think this wish is very realistic.

Perhaps they'll release a new WarioWare entry as one of their mobile games.

i honestly would love to see Wario World type game for Wario, i feel like there have been more 2D games for wario, and i would love to see a different approach to the Wario series. wariosm2;

but tbh i believe that the next game will be a new Wario Ware game, because of this preorder http://cdon.no/spill/wario_ware_u-14565413

I'm kind of with you on this one. A new type of Wario adventure would be awesome.

The great thing about Wario is that his series is always open to crazy ideas and experimentation. The sky's the limit with what you can do with the guy, honestly. There's no type of bizarre situation that would be beyond the realm of possibility for Wario to be in.

I'd like to see a new game that somehow unites the Ware and Land series.

Wouldn't it be awesome to the likes of Mona and Captain Syrup side by side?

That'd be really cool, what if they have characters that have been in past games. Similar to Dr. Mario 64 with the WL3 cast but instead of it being solely some random game it'd be a new genre altogether. Wario I can see him being versatile as much as Mario. His Wario Ware titles is an example of Wario going out of his own platforming genre. If they could maybe make some sort of interesting puzzle game perhaps something similar to puzzle bobble or Klax with Wario and his crew of wacky characters that would be cool, or perhaps an rpg.

Seeing Syrup and Rudy and some of the older enemies make a return is something Wario needs to at least have his footing out there again for not only players who grew up with the series but also new fans as well. Something that could work is an action rpg as well, like you could use shoulder charge or your transformations to not only solve puzzles but to also use them in battle.

I'd REALLY want a new land or world but lets be real, nintendo is gonna release another ware next. If you count game and wario all the consoles will have a ware title.
