Will we see any new WarioWare characters in the next game?

I've mentioned it before, but the last game we saw new characters introduced in was WarioWare Smooth Moves, which was released quite a while ago now.

So yeah, think we'll see any new WarioWare characters any time soon?

5-Volt is pretty much treated as a new character in G&W-she has a character card and she's listed with the established WW cast in the credits.

Ideas: Mona's brother? Dribble&Spitz's helpful mechanic? Orbulon's alien pal who came to remind him of his invader duties, but ends up becoming just like him?

Those are good ideas but (i dont mean to sound hostile) they are all related to another charater in some way it would be fun to see a completly different peron or thing in the mix. Not that i dont like your ideas, they're pretty good. Very good.

That's a nice point. It's nice to see characters who are unrelated and have their own stories to tell.

While I'm not opposed to a new character beeing introduced (heck I would still welcome Waluigi), I do think that the cast is already quite big as it is for this kind of game, not to mention that it would be even harder to give every character their own stages.

Long story short:

I wouldn't mind a new character, but if it means that some characters have to be relegated to cameos like Dribble & Spitz in Touched, than I would rather not have anyone new since the already existing ones already get much fewer limelight than they deserve.

I would also like some new characters, I just thought of related characters because I saw some sort of trend with the introductions of 18-Volt, Jimmy's family, Jimmy P., 5-Volt and Penny.

To be fair, relegating existing ones to cameos to introduce new characters is at least better than doing so to introduce recolours or family members with remixed sets of microgames. I'd rather have had new characters instead of say, Jimmy T's family from Touched, Jimmy P from Smooth Moves or Pirate Wario from Game & Wario.

Exept it isn't.
Reducing already existing characters to cameos for the sake of new faces is bad no mather what kind of character (recolour or original) it is.

Don't get me wrong I get why people would want to see new characters, I just think that bringing even more characters into it isn't a great idea since the already existing ones barely get anything anyway.I would much rather see them do more with the cast that we have right now before they even consider adding a new mainstay.

On a side note I don't get what's so bad about Captain Wario, he is just the obligatory second Wario stage and has one of the more memorable minigames, not to mention that
the rest of the cast all got their own stages anyway.

A little off topic but i would like to see these charaters get more reconization.

i'd like it if orbulon's friend came but he was evil, and when you were playing his mini9gam,es everyone you win destroys a bit of his plans to destroy diamond city or something, warioware could use a true villain

You've got a point there. An actually evil WarioWare character would certainly liven things up a bit...

And for those complaining about reducing characters to cameos... well, the best solution would be to make longer games. Or make that Diamond City sandbox/adventure game everyone seems to be after, where everyone can be in focus in some way.
