That concept where Alphadream allegedly proposed a Wario RPG featuring Peach (why not Mona?) as the other character in the formula comes to mind. I'm sure there's plenty of untapped methods Intelligent Systems (most likely) could work the actual...
For me it's one of those "I'll get it when I get it" things. It's not a particularly high priority given there's currently only two games of note to play, but time will give it more.
Somehow I think GIT's Daily Grind was meant to be a proof of concept for a Ware-inspired Wario Land imagining. If so, I imagine Wario Land 4 could work if developed by Intelligent Systems.
Now all that is left to do is a mix that re-adds the original Mega Microgames! vocals on top. That's how I imagined the song ever since I heard it in that clip, and it would be a shame to miss out on reliving that.
The odd thing about it is that the course doesn't otherwise appear to be based on anything that one might associate with Drifting Away, which may lend credence to it just being a random song selected in lieu of whatever music normally plays there...
There's ways to make it work, even in unexpected ways. Take if we decided to put her in a WarioWare stage; the failure animation could force her back into her cat form. Should beating the microgame allow her to assume the powerful G&W form though?
I would love to see later games explore Lulu's crush on Young Cricket as a story. But whether she can ever find it within herself to host such a stage, that's a question.
Happy Mothers' Day from WarioWare, Inc. Who else but 5-Volt to headline it?
Given that WarioWare has no father figures, you might be surprised who will be leading Fathers' Day.
Well, well, I've hit the jackpot. I've found the JSON file that defines all the event text. https://www.nintendo.com/jp/character/wario/assets/json/contact.json
Here's what I have gathered from it:
Each event has a month and day attached to...
Children's Day indeed exists (internal name childrens_day).
For posterity, here's what I saw for Greenery Day, the day before.
I was able to corroborate the existence of these events, although not with their text...
This rather shouty Reddit post has archived Coming of Age Day, featuring everyone's favourite singer-scientist Penny. This one is called "coming_of_age_day" internally, and was what led to me decompiling the website to find the other internal...
While I haven't found the code that actually implements which day gets shown, I have found in the CSS file some events. I'll be leaving out the standard month days, whose internal names are all... well, the month in all lowercase letters.
All...
