Had a feeling someone would make a joke like that.

Not feeling optimistic anymore. I guess I was very lucky to get an appointment this morning (apparently someone cancelled their appointment and I got it just in time). However, it turns out it will be more expensive than I thought and I'll have to wait until December 1st to get the first dental surgery done. I have to get two procedures done, but the first one will stop the pain. This means that I'll have to put up with pain for the next 12 days while trying to figure out my financial situation. Not fun..... just gotta hope painkillers keep me sane until then.

Before anyone makes the accusation, I've been brushing my teeth. Apparently, this is a problem that was gonna happen eventually because of a fall 15 years ago that damaged two of my teeth at the time.

...It would be cool if this forum had blogs.

On the bright side, this means no junk food at all which will make it easier to lose weight. It will also be sorted out before the holidays as well.

Geez, sorry to hear that, Ninja. My mother keeps telling me to hit the dentist or I'll regret it. And she's right. It's been several years since my last check-up.

There was a big-wig dentist or oral scientist on the radio a few months back. A really respected guy. Anyway, he put it to the listeners that the healthiest routine you can have for oral hygiene is to brush once every twelve hours.

So - brush once in the morning (before or after breakfast), and brush once after dinner. Also make sure you floss those choppers once a day, as it does a world of good. Never skip on the flossing.

Thanks, and yes your mother is right. Last time I had a toothache, I left it a few weeks until it became unbearable. No hesitation this time though. And I do brush my teeth, apparently the issue I'm having is because of a fall I had when I was 10 which damaged two of my teeth at the time! Lol, thankfully it isn't hurting right now, feels good.

Edit: Just went through a high level of pain, it was so awful.... it's still kinda bad, but tolerable at the moment. I can't wait 12 more days....

Tooth pain is the worst... plus enduring that until the 1st of December... :(
Good luck with that, friend! I hope you can get some sleep soon too...

It is, it's a million times worse than something like a headache for some reason.
Thanks, painkillers are in full effect right now so I feel much better and I found out there's a chance I could get it sorted sooner! ^.^

I never had toothhache, but doesn't it feel like someone is stinging you with a needle? Always imagined the pain to be similar to that.
