Of course. I was far more obsessed with 3D exploration games, so I made a lot of bird's eye view maps of environments. I detailed where hidden secrets would be and enemy territory. All that good stuff.
Of course, always! Since the first time I saw a Mario game, I've always drawn levels, and even series. They've progressively gotten more complex and interesting. I think I may have done that from like 6 to 10 years old.
I've drawn all kinds of video game related stuff. From the characters, to levels, to scenarios...
I should see if I can find some old drawing and scan them in. ^^
I did draw a level once on paper and replicate it in Lunar Magic (Super Mario World level editor), and while it turned out fine, I prefer making the level in Lunar Magic right away instead of drawing it out first.
Drew spikes anywhere and everywhere. Spikes on the floor on the edges on the edges edges, spikes up boss monsters unmentionables.
Tried to make me some hardcore Megaman X levels to the max.
