Yeah, i'm not worried about it! Anyhow, I don't think there's a wrong idea to be had. It looks like a colorful platformer, which it is. Shantae isn't an 'adults only' title, it's about as accessible as a Mario or Sonic game, really. Everybody can enjoy it, from little kids to adults.

Sure, I reckon I was overthinking it a bit yesterday. Heheh. Often when I see a new game title my enterprising mind kicks in and starts asking "does that title work?" or "how can it sound better?" Nothing worse than hard work/great games being dismissed because of a bogus title.

You're absolutely right, and I often turn a critical eye towards aspects of production in the same way. I think anyone with any love and a bit of intelligence regarding the medium should! But in this case, I think we're good to go.
Just the other day I picked up Princess Remedy in a World of Hurt, and boy did I have fun! I also played the sequel ¨In a Heap of Trouble.¨ I think it's safe to say that I'm a fan now, so thanks for that!

Glad you liked them, I don't see how anyone couldn't. They are wonderful games!

Yes, they are. Short, but really enjoyable. It was completely different from what I expected, so I was quite surprised at first. (Though in a good way.) Normally I don't like RPG's or shmups, but these games managed to combine them perfectly.
Yo, I know I tend to come off as combative at times but I hope I don't seem that way right now. This place has been super dead for about a month and so it's refreshing being able to push actual conversations again.

Oh no, you're fine. I know how frustrating that can get. Hopefully we can breathe a little life back into this place!

Haha something like that, a little less pure evil and a little more opportunistic asshole.

Like a reversed Toad indeed. I also like how the site name is a pun on the heartagram you've told me about. You really seem to like that symbol, as I can judge from Discord haha.

I do. I've got like 50 tattoos of it, lol. I'm invested
So, what are your thoughts on HGH's Pirate Queen's Quest? I have to say I like the whole ¨two sides to every story¨ thing, but I think the ending to be a bit weird.
The Pirate Master, Genies, do-gooders, girl scouts, compromise, Scuttle Town, boring people, obstacles, lists of ¨loves¨, rules, bilge water, small cakes, egalitarianism, losing, lawmen, ponytails, scrapbooking, mayors, simple hats, modesty, your ugly face, waiting, inanimate ships, puppies, honesty, mutiny, whole grains, scurvy dogs, being corrected, quaintness, paperwork, emoticons, coexistence, licking enveloppes, vegetables, whatever you like. -A short list of things Risky Boots hates.

I actually agree with her on many of these, especially the emoticons. I like the themed emoticons on Wario Forums, and I think emoticons are useful for conservation, but after the reveal of that godawful Emoji Movie they have a notoriety that cannot be undone. I also wonder what Risky Boots would think about fidget spinners or overly dank memes. [imagine gif of thinking Shantae here]
the hardest thing in the world is calling a project "done" when you're in total perfectionist mode...there's always some little thing, a stray pixel or imperfection or whatever, that you've gotta go back and fix. And it never ends. I think Trey Parker said it best when he said you've "gotta learn to walk away" at a certain point.
I think I'm going to do a Desert Bus stream. If you don't know Desert Bus, the objective of the game is to drive a bus from Tucson, Arizona, to Las Vegas, Nevada, in real time at a maximum speed of 45 MPH. The feat requires eight hours of continuous play to complete, since the game cannot be paused. It'll be a daunting task, but ultimately an interesting one. Expect it soon!
I'm going to buy a PS4 just so I can play the incredible-looking Tales of Berseria. I absolutely adore Velvet Crowe (who just so happens to be voiced by Shantae herself, Cristina Vee) and I'm tired of waiting around for some kind of Switch announcement. Maybe I'll wait until TGS to see if they announce it there. If not, it's PS4 city for me
