And then ANOTHER newcomer arrives!

zipp001039

Wario Fan Supreme
Heyo, I'm zipp001039, but all of you can just call me Zipp! I was invited to the discord server by Kyon (or ashley as he's known here) on deviantart but apparently this site is the main place for chatting, so I'll make some posts here first and get to know you guys.

So...Wario? x3

Well I remember me and my siblings hated him way back in the Mario sports spinoff games for the Nintendo 64 like Mario kart or party, the Wario cpu used to always beat us so hard lol, never even heard of WarioLand until recently, looks pretty neat if you like Mario games but I don't probably don't know what I'm talking about lol. you guys are the Wario experts obviously so enlighten me!
Personally I never played Warioware much but I like the characters a lot. Ashley Mona and Jimmy are all pretty rad, hence why I follow Kyon on Devart, he makes some cool WarioWare art, pretty much only Ashley and possesion though. Lol.

Anywya enough about that, as for me I'm a big Nintendo fan whole life, mostly played Nintendo 64 and Game boy advance as a kid, Mario is my favorite series and character of all time, yeah. May take some time to grow on Wario so bear with me, lol.

Welcome to our Wario Shrine! my friend
And don't worry, we'll be here to guide you through the wahnderful world of
WARIO!!!!!!
WAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!

Hello there, Zippo! You don't mind if I call you "Zippo" for short, do ya? Sure hope you stick around and get to know us. We're a very warm and civil community, and we're very glad to have you here. Welcome to the club!

By the way, Kyon is known as Kyon here. He's hiding from James Bond, so he sometimes goes by the name of "Ashley Channel". You can change your username if you have enough forum money (you earn forum money by making posts).

Thanks for joining the forums, Zipp! Glad you enjoy my art, maybe I'll cut down on the possession Ashley art and just make general Warioware art, lol. Anyways, welcome to the forums, it's nice to have a new member to talk with around here.

We got many threads, and if you wanna have small talk you can join the Discord if you'd like.

Wow, thanks for the warm welcome! You guys sure do reply fast, haha. I'm already loving this place, know I'm going to enjoy my stay, you all seem pretty rad.

Not at all, I like it!

Don't worry, I always make a real commitment when joining forums and stuff. Hopefully you like me because I'm not going anywhere anytime soon, haha.

Lol yeah, that'd be a nice change. :p

Thanks again for the big welcome, it's great to meet new people.

Haha, I'll try, it'll be hard to resist XP

jk, anyways, no, thank you for joining the forum, lol. Glad you got the invite, it's a pretty good place here, everybody is friendly! Also a nice bonus that you like Ashley, lol. :ashleymain:

As long as we never ever see another argument about whether or not Ashley really is the most popular character ever again, Im a happy camper : p
Haha, don't worry about that, I'm not even close to being as big of a fan of Ashley as Kyon. Actually I think the whole Warioware cast is pretty great, some I'm more indifferent to than others, but none of them are bad or anything. If I had to choose only one Mona is probably my favorite (judging by your username she's your favorite too right?), she's a really versatile character, changing jobs and roles for every game with some rad outfits. I bet Kyon will hate me for saying this but Ashley is only high up there for her design honestly, the brooding personality doesn't do much for me, lol. Dribble and Spitz are pretty awesome too though, especially the song that plays on their stages. I forgot what it's called, "Drifting Away" I think?:p

Ahoy there! As per the usual, I'm late to the greeting party; welcome aboard, anyhow, Mrs. Zipp. Always a real pleasure to see new, quality members around our humble abode. I'm adoring that Tanooki Suit avatar, too.

As one who was born raised on those two consoles, along with the NES, somehow I have the feeling we'll get along just swell. The N64 boasts an extraordinary library-- Rareware's work during this era in particular was stellar (you may know them as the minds behind titles such as Banjo-Kazooie or Donkey Kong 64)-- with dozens upon dozens of some of the most influential and groundbreaking games in history of gaming, from Super Mario 64 to The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.
The GBA acted as the natural evolution of the Game Boy family, providing some fairly impressive technical specs for the time, especially on a handheld. It's also home to plenty of fantastic RPG's and remakes (admittedly, the quality of the latter tends to vary *cough*DKC3 remake*cough*). Our legendary hero himself, Wario, also had some time in the limelight, featuring two of his greatest games; namely, Wario Land 4 (by the by, I highly recommend this one to Wario Land newcomers) and WarioWare Inc.: Mega Microgames.

...Bah, there I go again. Off ranting on some irrelevant nonsense. I say, it's nearly impossible for me to write a humble, simple post without essentially creating a write-up. A-ha.

Anywho, salutations, and greetings. It's a real pleasure to make your acquaintance.

WELCOME NEW FELLOW WAH

Hello you look like you have potential but sadly as per my policy I cannot welcome people and as such I only congratulate people if they stick around long enough(on the forums). That being said, looking forward to seeing you and @MineTopia43 around.

Oh blarg, Im too caught up with myself lately that I didnt even see the N64 was mentioned.

I was a huge N64 fanatic growing up, haha. Its still one of my all time favorite consoles. Im way happy to see another fan of the console here on the site : p We should totally have a N64 appreciation thread, if I havent already made that in the past already : p

You are certainly the member to make a general N64 thread, Mona, since you stood by it so passionately in your childhood.

I know more than a few members could contribute something. I can already think of one little tidbit, like the history behind the N64's sound engine, responsible for everything you hear in the games. Nintendo hired one of my favourite companies to build it (the same company who created my beloved Equinox, actually!)

Ive played WL3 and WL4. Theyre both great (though I couldnt beat WL3 ; _ ; ), but if you were going to play one Id recommend WL4. I love the artstyle and visuals in that game : p Everything about it is great, I actually cant think of anything bad to say about it.

Haha, I did make one!

And once again more praise for Turok, haha Ive talked about that game here more than anywhere else in my entire life : p I did really like that game, though : p I remember as a kid, playing it one night back when it was still the new thing. I was going up one of those stair way made of logs in the crevasse of some mountain, and I was looking through the gaps of the logs, looking at the brownish clouds pass by, and I thought it was amazing, haha.
