Does anyone else want background graphic rips from Shake It?

CM30

Diamond City Mayor
Diamond City Leader
Or at least, non enemy ones?

Because as nice as the enemy and character sprites are, they're not really what I'm interested in here. Instead, I want some of the lovely background graphics and tilesets instead. Like a nice clear version of the Neon City background, or the foreground tiles from Bad Manor/Boogie Mansion.

So yeah, anyone else feel the same? Because part of me wants to see if I can rip some of the environment graphics from this title...

I do have this...

Dumping Textures from this game isn't too hard. You can do it in Dolphin, just by playing the game. But you'd also have to sort them and upload them.
And Dolphin dumps EVERY SINGLE TEXTURE THAT IS EVER LOADED. So you'd have your work cut out for you.
The result is gonna look something like this:

So yeah, have fun sorting.

Wow, those are pretty awesome!

And thanks for the instructions on how you can rip them. Maybe I'll try that in future, if I find the time.

Yeah just check the "Dump textures" option under Graphics > Advanced and Dolphin will dump every texture that gets loaded into the folder it says in the option's description.
It won't dump textures that are already loaded so if you were to turn the dump option on in a menu, it won't dump the textures currently on screen. So it's best to check it before even starting the game.

Speaking of Shake it on Dolphin, it's so great that you can bind the shaking to a simple controller button.
I also bound tilting left and right to the L and R triggers. And since they are analog triggers, I can even tilt anywhere between a little bit and a lot.
It's not the BEST way to aim your throws but it at least it's not motion controls.
And guess what?
You can even make yourself a control scheme that actually makes the Subwarine section bearable! :sgrin:
It's a bit tricky finding out which buttons you have to bind to what but I managed to get a setup where pressing left and right on the control stick makes me go forward and backward and pressing up and down tilts it like I was using motion controls.
Again, not perfect but a hell of a lot better than the original.
Unfortunately you'll have to have 2 setups saved and switch between them every time you enter or exit a subwarine level.
I haven't tested the rocket bucket controls yet, but they shouldn't be too bad.
