That just makes me want to see a 3D Wario Land game. I mean, can you imagine one on the level of Donkey Kong Country Returns and Tropical Freeze that you can play on the Nintendo Switch?

It'd be a day one buy for me!
 
Still don't know why Wario didn't have a yellow shirt in NES Wario's Woods. I mean, it is not impossible to make yellow in 8-bit systems and the colour is not used elsewhere in the sprite so why? But it still looks decent, though.

Hm... not sure how they managed to give him 4 colors in the first place.
Each sprite tile can only have 3 colors, 4 if it's a background tile. So most of his sprite is probably part of the background layer.
If they wanted a yellow shirt and cap they'd have to either sacrifice the white eyes, teeth, and gloves or ditch the purple and give him black pants or orange pants or yellow pants...
I guess in this case they thought purple was more important for Wario? :p dunno.

Thing is, I haven't seen a lot of good shades of yellows in NES games. A lot of it is either very orange-looking or it's that ugly mustard yellow. You know the one. I hate that yellow.

They are more orange or beige than yellow.
