But seriously it's kinda lame, but I already expected for him to not be there anymore, I mean the White Mage referencing Psycho Kamek being gone was already a huge red flag as far as Square owned elements were concerned Toadley is better anyway

Loving all the cameos on the Yoshi Theater posters, it's nice to see that the series still keeps in touch with it's history, instead of throwing everything away like Paper Mario did.

I just don't get why Geno was able to be in Smash but not this game.
 
Wtf? What else did they change? I hope they won't fuck up with small changes to the point that the new game will be as weirdly different as Conker's Bad Fur Day remake...
A lot of small changes can make a huge difference.

Not sure how much I like the new Trunkle or Jojora designs either...
 
Well, it's better than Sticker Star in that aspect. But really AlphaDream? Why screw up the Toad designs here?

The enemies on the overworld are REALLY forgiving in this game. They are slow, hardly notice you and suck at chasing you.
 
Were the enemies ever any good at chasing you?

The challenge always came from the combat, not avoiding the enemies in the first place.

Actually, yes! In Superstar Saga they were very quick.
Like, the Lakipeas would always fly right above your head. Now you can easily outrun them.
