I think with gamers who only like music from games, that they dont like... understand finding pleasure from sound. That like, its not just the sound that they like, there has to be something tied to it. Like, I have a close friend who is very much like this : p The only music he likes is music from games he liked. He likes them, I believe, because theyre tied to memories of games he enjoyed. I believe that if it werent for the games, theyd just be more "noise" to him.
I think its like, they become so into the visual art that they dont care about the rest of it. So when they hear music, theres no excitement or anything, because they crave only the visual stuff, and the interactive aspect of video games.

Im sure its possible that they could learn to appreciate music, as I dont believe everything about who we are is genetic : p But theyd have to actually want to find an appreciation for it, and Im sure most dont care enough to do it : p

And I dont think having bad social skills means you cant make friends and junk : p I have made close friends before, even irl. I understand their body language and their sense of humor and all that too. I think its just that we both are at the same level with our ability to interact with other people, and we click because of it : p
I feel akward around most people, but with people like me I do better : p

I never really understood teaching young boys that hitting a girl is wrong, should be teaching them not to hit anyone unless they really have to : p

I mean they of course should be taught that men are physically stronger than women, and that women should be treated gently, but its not okay to be hitting anyone : p

And I dont think its right to make a male feel bad because hes not as strong as other males, if he tries his best but just doesnt have the ability of someone else, hes done no wrong and shouldnt be made to feel bad for it. All that matters is that you try your best and do right, not that you beat everyone at everything you do.

Couldn't have said it better myself.

At their young age, kids are all the same, with the same strength. It is not until hormones start to kick in that some differences happen. And even then, the difference is not as notable. My mother thought me never to hit anyone, because it's bad, I'm now afraid of conflict. My sister was educated to hit back at anyone who would hit her, even if she is hates and tries to avoid conflicts, whenever she's cought in one, she fights back, strong!

This "rule" of boys not hitting girls was built on gentleman rules, as a gentleman should respect a lady.

Pretty much. I find it extremely difficult to hit a woman, even if she's kickin my ass. I'm just wired not to. A lot of us are, I think.

I mostly don't watch anime because it just feels like a string of trends that I can't keep up with.
i feel like thats the entire premise of most tv shows in general, specifically sit coms.
just politics, memes, and middle age people pretending to be invested in modern technology and ideals; wrapped in a stock laugh track.

I watched some older anime and it seems anime weren't always packed into tight seasons. A lot of them were like 40 episodes or so instead of these 12 episode ones we get usually. It seems very few anime nowadays get much longer runs discounting multiple seasons.

lol, i mainly watch youtube so i tune out... for five seconds before the comedian turns into a campaign messenger telling me who to vote for, i wanted to see a stupid funny made, not more of the news.
speaking of which, i really dislike when a youtube channel gets political when it isnt a political channel, because not only is advancing their viewpoint unwarranted, but its frankly at the point where the content in general starts going bad.

(There's starting to be way too many threads like this on these forums...)

This whole "meme culture" I guess you could call it is really disappointing to me. "Meme" pages on Facebook and so on. I know there's nothing wrong with having fun but at the same time seeing people act stupid just so they can get attention online is just so disappointing to me. Maybe I'm a bit too uptight but I just can't bring myself to enjoy stuff like this.

Memes are fun, if used properly and in the right moment. Abusing the use of them is just stupid and childish. People tend to lose respect and posture around those who over use jokes or memes. At a certain point, it's not fun to anyone anymore.

So next time you ask why you can't have friends, remember if you abuse jokes and memes, people tend to stay away from you.

I mean yeah memes can be fun and some I find to be quite funny in an ironic or clever way but when you have a group of people having a serious discussion about "dank memes" then that's where I start to get lost.

I dont like the word "probs".

It sounds so goofy : p

I also dont like it when people say "same difference". That one is less common nowadays but growing it it was really common, I always really hated it : p

I never liked "for reals" either, like why are we adding an s to it? : p

I totally get changing up language to make it fun and give it character, like I do it all the time : p But theres alot of it that bugs me, haha.

I just to rant out about that Jontron hate going on around the socials media and all the SJWs went full-retarded mode with the man himself because he has conservative viewpoints.

Because apparently, if you have a career on Youtube, you must obligatory have the same personal beliefs from the typical tumblrtards.
If not, it's torches and witch hunt no-stop.

...

These people disgusts me.
A good beating on those SJWs will be great for their health, that's for sure.

Timezones! I hate timezones! It's not like Earth is round or anything! Heck, if anything it's flat! Why do timezones exist then?!

If we removed timezones, everyone would have the same hour and daylight, it would be PERFECT!!

Honestly, if there was ever a moment you thought I wasn't joking, then yes, that was a joke, although I still do hate timezones.
You want to spend time with friends overseas, but you can't because you wake up as they go to sleep and vice versa. It's a shame really.

You know what i hate? These In-your-face Vegans.

I don't hate all Vegans but some of them are just... urgh.

Some of them act like they are above us and treat all meat eaters as animal abusing and meat addictive assholes.

I have the feeling that some of them are only Vegans so they can pretend to be special/better.
