I just want to say I wasn't trying to paint anyone in a negative light or even bring this incident up again. I just wanted to provide an example for Kyon over how enthusiastic some of her fans are although it was probably not the best example. I explained myself in the other thread.

you should really give wario land 4 a chance, its great fun and shokora turns out to be an amazing character if you pay attention.

3 is the most non-linear of them all. 4 is a lot more linear so you'd probably not get that lost there. Same goes for 2.
If you don't know which level you're supposed to go to at any time you can go to the temple and the hidden figure will tell you where to go.

I think one and 4 are the most like the games you're used too. That doesn't mean I wouldn't recommend 3, though, I really like it, but you said you prefer more Mario-like games in which you can actually die.

...I dunno, when I draw them, I just think of an expression, not really a word that would describe it.

Ah, who cares? Just name them cry 2,3,4 or doofy 1,2,3 or whatever. I mean when I pick smileys I just look at them in the list anyway, don't you?
