Does this little guy look farmiliar :3
It's the cat from the Cat Nap microgame from Mega Microgame$
I brought them up before in this thread.

Assuming you didn't look this up. Johnny Quasar was the concept for Jimmy Neutron in the 80's. In the 90's there was an animation expo and Sigraph was showing off their more advance CGI. Johnny Quasar was one of them and this was the 1995 reveal, the first time Jimmy Neutron was shown to the masses. All we could find for years was "Hey, i'm Johnny Quasar and this is my robot dog Goddard" *bark bark bark bark* We didn't know about the 1997 version but it was much closer to Jimmy Neutron and was eventuallyre worked into runaway rocket boy, the pilot episode and was popular enough to spawn the Jimmy Neutron movie and was popular enough to make the cartoon and episode one was just runaway rocket boy but with the movie aesthetic.
People have been interested in the 1995 short that's been floating around but couldn't find anything and it recently got to the creator of Jimmy Neutron so he went searching and just the other day the voice actor of johnny had the shorts and uploaded them.

I was texting a friend of mine earlier about hanging out together today. Our texts to each other are almost always just the two of us trying to out-silly the other, and today was no different : p I had alot of fun with todays convo and decided to share it here : p

You guys should summon mr hankey while you're using the shitter, a good ol' fashion brown snow!

I cant lie, Im not a fan of South Park. They have a few jokes here and there I like but overall I really dont like the show : p

I did have a couple more lined up though, haha. Never had the chance though, I might get to later when we actually hang out : p

I haven't asked but are there any other adult shows you're interested in? I really liked south park growing up but I didn't really like the new seasons when they try to make a whole story line for one single character like president garrison.

Do you like the manly duckman? George Costanza voiced him so it automatically is manly. Yes I hope you keep the shit jokes coming they're beautiful!

Ive never heard of Duckman but George Costanza is pretty great : p

And adult shows? Uhhhh dunno, it would depend on what youd consider an adult show : p

Im not real big into alot of the stuff youd see on like Adult Swim. I like some of them, though. I really really liked Home Movies alot, I watched a ton of that show. And I watched that show Metalocalypse or whatever because of it, being from one of the two creators of HM. It was okay, but a bit too like... hardcore for me : p I dont like violence and junk. It was neat having a cartoon about a band though, and I actually did like the melodies to a few of their songs, believe it or not : p

I got into Aqua Teen Hunger Force because of my little brother, it was a show we watched together and I had fun watching it with him. Oh and Squidbillies too, my mom also liked that one : p

And uhhhh I dunno, outside that I would probly say just the normal stuff, like Simpsons and Bobs Burgers and King of the Hill, I dont really go out of my way for "adult humor" really, I like dialog based humor but Im not real into lewd stuff : p

What about you?

Agreed George is the man , he is definitely the best girl in Seinfeld. Used to watch a lot of Adult Swim stuff with my younger brother years ago when they had weird shows on there like Perfect Hair Forever aka retarded hair guy, if you seen that hot dog clip then you pretty much have seen the entire show if not I'll link it here. It's basically some dumb show about a dude who's balding and he needs to find good hair from furry cat men, the way I explained it makes no sense but just watch it as you would with squidbillies really just enjoying it not expecting some sort of story.

Metalacolypse also had people who created HM as well? That's pretty cool actually, remember that Coach McGurk as well as Bob from Bob's Burgers and Archer all have the same voice played by the same VA, how do you feel about VA's like that using the same or similar voice for a dozen characters. Kronk, Warburton forget his name but he's the guy who played Kronk in Kuzco uses that same voice for a lot of characters too.

I don't mind dark humor or stupid retarded humor like Perfect Hair Forever those tend to be my favorite anyways. One of my favorite shows well I guess adult shows? would be Futurama, really loved it as a kid and I have like seasons 1-4 dvd sets don't remember how I got them but I must have been a big fan. It's another show made by the creators of the Simpsons very talented guy, also have a lot of fun moments in the Simpsons as well.

I also like Mike Judge's stuff especially beavis and butthead as well as Daria. My fav scene is when Beavis puts his finger in the sawblade haha.

Yeah, Brendan Small, may have spelled his name wrong, but the guy who the main character was named after. He went on to make that show, too. And yeah I knew about Bob Belcher and Archer too : p Archer was okay here and there, but I really like Bobs Burgers a ton.

And I like it when the voices to characters I like play other characters : p Like it was great when I found out the voice of Louise Belcher was also the voice of Mabel Pines, I really like both of those characters a bunch : p

And I remember Beavis and Butthead as well as Daria from my youth. I remember I liked both of them, especially Daria. I havent watched either of them in a while though. I might still enjoy parts of Beavis and Butthead now that Im older, like pretty much just the parts where they made fun of music videos : p And Daria, I remember thinking it was super cool when I was younger, but now that Im older Ive become more jaded towards political junk, especially when it comes from the left these days, that I think Id be worried from being turned off from it nowadays : (

First off yes you're very funny!

Archer is pretty good I will say that it takes a while before getting used to the series since the first and second season of Archer is very expiremental but it starts to gain speed afterwards, really love the humor it's a lot more dark then some other shows currently airing. It's amazing that they also did voices for characters in Gravity Falls another neat show.

When I was smaller there were a ton of things Daria herself as well as her friend Jeanne talked about that I couldn't really understand, favorite episodes have always been when they went to parties and acted like sarcastic assholes towards everyone. Beavis and Butthead talked about some of my favorite bands including Butthole Surfers which was pretty great. When it comes to politics I try not to dabble in it especially if we see it in cartoons since you know when watching things for fun that's something that you don't really expect or want too especially in a show that doesn't need to be.

Yeah, I hate it when artists add their political opinion to everything. I mean its one thing when their product is meant to be poitically driven. Like Daria was meant to be that way a bit, having social commentary or whatever and all. But yeah, I do hate it when that stuff is included in pop culture and junk, because when you do that you make your product exclusive to certain people who share your views.
I really have that problem with music, when bands I really like have songs that sound great, but have some opinion pushed in it that I think is really dumb or backwards.

And I dont really know that band very well, but haha there was like no talking on that clip, it was just the music video : p Felt like there should have been a joke in there : p

The only time politics in cartoon's are alright by me is cyborg nixon!
On that note it's not so much as I have a problem with it as it trying to spread some sort of message. If it can be satirical or of the sorts as you seen how much of a Joke Nixon is in Futurama then I don't really mind it. It's just having some sort of agenda where it can be pretty meh since cartoons like music don't really need it if you can just enjoy a show for what it is. Of course there'll be certain music, like songs or cartoons that add an interesting message like some of Arnold's eps, one that I could remember is the turtle episode prob one of my fav eps as well as the birdman ep but that's not really political anyway though it does show you the lengths of what we could do with wanting to keep our world eco-friendly I suppose.

I like what Hey Arnold did, theres nothing wrong with like racial diversity and that kinda junk. I think hey Arnold did it in the right way, that like no one other than racists would disagree with : p

And haha, I liked Nixons head in Futurama yeah : p The Simpsons sometimes does cool stuff with political jokes. I remember the episode when Bart joins a football team, and Lisa surprises everyone to tell them that yes, a girl wants to join the team, and Flanders tells her that they already had 3 girls on the team, haha : p

I think Pinky and the Brain did a good job with it too, as they made jabs on both sides of the political spectrum. Most political satirists are very biased in their work, so its nice to see some who can do so with both sides : p

King of the Hill did a good job with that too. Its funny though, Ive noticed people on both the right and left claim that it specifically makes fun of the other, unaware that it takes jabs on both sides, haha.

Koth is something that yeah both parties can enjoy since it doesn't harbor any strong beliefs on one particular thing while still keeping things fresh. Can't decide whether I like Bill or Dale the best, Bill is such a lovable loser it's amazing. Don't remember much of Pinky and The Brain, watched it as a kid and I really just remember mostly celebs being in them mostly the joke involving Yoko Ono and breaking up the Beatles. Should really get around to watching well rewatching it since all the political stuff in it must have flung right out of our heads as children.

Speaking of shows like Pinky and The Brain what do you think of other Warner Bros type shows. Really enjoyed Freakazoid, weird super hero guy who takes on other whackos it reminded me a lot of Earthworm Jim in that the main protag is just as weird as the bad guys he fights. You might know of Candlejack mostly seems to be the biggest popular thing about the series.
