Someone tracked down the Wario Land 4 voice samples!

Ah, found the company page:

http://www.zero-g.co.uk/store/vocal-xtc-wav-acid-p431.php

I think. But it says the vocals were provided by:

Female Lead Vocals - Helen Binding
Female Laid-back Vocals - Josie Dale
Female Assorted Harmonies & BV's - Dani Lemer
Female Chants - Sarah Carter
Male Soul & RnB Vocals - Nathan Prime
Male Soul & RnB Vocals - Raymond Dyer
Male Rock & Indie Vocals - Rob Marshall
Male Assorted Harmonies & BV's - Simon Jinadu
Single Vocals / Miscellaneous Weird Vocals / Effected Vocals - Heather May
Nine Piece Gospel Choir - The Reality Gospel Choir

Based on the track list, I'm gonna say Helen Binding was responsible for singing some of the stuff in the title theme. Aka this one:

But I we need some more specifics here.

Surprised that no one's commented on this yet. I think this is an amazing find! I mean, they're actual CLEAN voice samples from a game that most of us here played. And we heard the title screen track all the time!

Gosh, it sounds so good! but it's only 40% of the lyrics, I don't know if it's another artist or if the other voice clips are from somewhere else...

Anyway, it sounds like this with the new lyrics I found. Need a bit more tweaking, but I love it! :D

Sounds pretty good! Wish I knew who provided the 'male' voice samples as well, since those seem to be another 40% of the title screen track.

Gosh, I'm still looking everywhere for the rest of the samples! I listened to the whole Zero G vocals too, but no luck.
But I'm sure we won't find anything exactly as heard in the game, since all the vocals seem bits mixed together...

They're distorted and massively reduced in quality, that's the issue here.

But it makes me wonder; is there a site where people discuss this sort of thing? Maybe someone there would remember a sound pack with these vocals.

Edit: Maybe it's possible for someone to look through the whole Zero-G site and find out what every single vocal track says. If Nintendo got one set of samples there, maybe they also got the rest in the same place.

This is amazing. After hearing the title track for most of my life, it's so surreal to hear the actual raw voice of the song which is so familiar. I can't shed any new light on the subject, but a question I have is whether we already know the male vocal that sings in the credits:

"A dream, that I had last night. Melted right through my pillow"

Was this taken from an actual pop song? Nothing that I'm familiar with.

Oh my gad that's amazing! :S8D: :SEek: :S8'D:

I'm very very very tempted to buy it just to see if the other samples are in there too! If no one else wants to. :030:

Edit: Wait @BlueJackG did you already buy it?

Okay, that's a really cool find! It's quite curious to hear the samples in good quality! I didn't even know it was a female singing it. d:p

Maybe I should actually read the posts. :p

You know what this means, right? We need to listen through all vocal packs released before 2002 to find the missing clips! :S<:D:

I haven't bought it, of course not... That's part of the reason why I haven't shared on Youtube yet.
