Unpopular Opinions for Everything Else

Now that you mention that, I totally get what you mean. I just think their accents, the pop culture / "comedy", and their ideas from that time period are fascinating, because they're so... foreign and different from what today's like. Even though I said the past few decades weren't what they were cracked up to be, it's still amazing to sit back and go, "Wow. People who grew up in the 50s/60s are the same people who created the iconic music and cartoons from the past few decades." Heck, even today I'm amazed that the people who grew up with said cartoons and music are the same people who made the internet what it is today.

Haha, I don't watch many horror movies, but any movies from that time period that required special fx are pretty cool. Which reminds me! I'm a James Bond fan, and I've always wanted to watch the really really old James Bond movies, but I never have anyone to watch them with!!

Haha, Ive never even thought about that before : p Them being the people who made all the things we like today, I mean : p But yeah, youre right. That is kinda neat to think about, it also makes you wonder how thats even possible haha : p

And yeah, I always enjoy the special effects from older films as well. I can definitely say I like movies from the past far more than movies today. I dont really watch many movies, actually : p But all my favorites are from the past.
Though one of my favorite films ever is the Frighteners, I think that one qualified for computerized effects :/

Oh! And I am too, actually. But /only/ for the Pierce Bronson 007 movies : p Have you seen those yet? Like Goldeneye and The World is Not Enough? And you said you had a little brother, right? You should force him to watch them with you : p

Yeah! It's pretty cool. It seems like each generation seeks to "do the right thing" more than the next. The pattern I see is people are growing up to be more aware of their actions and more sensitive / cautious. It's interesting! :)

I used to watch movies all the time (I can't remember if I said that already lol), but I haven't watched one in awhile. I don't really watch "modern" (as in this decade) movies much either. I think it also has to do with this decade having a really gross time period between being good at digital fx, and not knowing what they were doing at all. Some fx look so cheesy, or some green screen's so... obviously green screened! Of course, now the digital fx artists are pros, and some of the stuff looks flat out unreal!

Haha!! That's such a good idea, I should have him watch them with me. I haven't seen those yet - I've mainly seen the ones with Roger Moore (Octopussy was the first one I watched. I picked it because it sounded funny, but I ended up loving it).

70's 80's and 90's aren't as good as people say and 00's doesn't get enough love.

Dragon Ball > Dragon Ball Kai > Dragon Ball Super > Dragon Ball GT > Dragon Ball Z

I understand that Trump isn't the best president and i feel for you guys living in the US but i do believe between the 3 candidates that actually stood a chance Trump is in fact the best possible outcome for you guys (not a great one but still) so just be thankful, you've had dumbass presidents before and your just fine so sit down and chill the fuck out, your safe.

Star Wars episode 3 is actually good but is considered bad since its directly died to 1 and 2 which sucks, People need to stop looking at Star Wars as trilogys and judge each movie on its own merits and i genuinely enjoyed episode 3, not so much 1 and 2 though.

Super Sentai is fine but Power Rangers is a poopy americanization, I know they're similar enough but whenever this is done to another show its shit but with Power Rangers its okay? I swear it got successful and is old so being tied to a kid's nostalgia it MUST be perfect right? Also the new PR movie is actually really good but Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers is just a stupid bastard child of Super Sentai season 16 and an American infomercial salesman and a chinesse bootleg.

McDonald's cheeseburgers are repulsive yet i could eat a Big Mac without dying on the inside, What's in that sauce that makes them actually edible compared to the other stuff?

Kids these days need to be playing outside more than staying inside playing vidya gaems. They also need to be raised by their parents and not their electrical devices.

Moms should stay home and not work. Moms belong in the kitchen dontshootme

Why do people like hate the new TMNT movies, They've always been dumnb and fun. People say these new ones are for normies, Like they haven't always been like that? I'm sorry these ones aren't nostalgic for you. Guess they only worked in the 20th century.

There is nothing wrong with fictional villains who are just 'evil' without a sympathetic motive. It's just another kind of antagonist who the heroes have to deal with in a different way.

The Japanese Mario adaptations are trash. Really, they're just the Japanese equivalents to the Super Show or movie, with a level of production values to match. Don't give works a free pass because they're in a different language.

Doctor Who really needs some new writers, since Moffat and co are just phoning it in at this point.

The sob stories and kids on reality shows are annoying. Can we just subvert them for once? Like have a singer with a tragic backstory who turns out to be total crap and buzzed off the stage in about 30 seconds? Or a kid who's an unbearable prick with no talent whatsoever?

Clowns aren't scary. I mean, I can see someone being scared of Rudy the Clown or Chortlebot, but a normal clown? How is that scary at all?

Dogs are better than cats.

There are not hundreds of genders. Heck, I'd struggle to say there are more than four or five.

Is the gender thing rly an unpopular opinion tho? I'm pretty sure enough people agree with that that it's more of a mainstream opinion. In fact I see it said more than "There's more than two genders."

That said, one for me would be, unpopular opinion threads are pointless because what's "Unpopular" is relative due to how someone perceives what's unpopular is based around who they hang our with, and where they look. Therefore everything could be unpopular.

Bam, fun killed.

Fleisher Studios is awesome and Disney sucked eggs, at least back then.
The moment Walt decided to take Max Fleisher's ideas and take credit Disney should have crashed and burned, not Fleisher studios. How could you do my boy Max like that.

I like opening credits in movies. Like 2-3 minute long ones with an overture and stuff. This is unpopular because Hollywood has gotten rid of opening credits and just dives right into the movie. Why? Because most people are impatient and just want the movie to start. I'm different, I like opening credits because they set the mood for the movie and excite you for what's to come. Maybe one with creepy music for a horror movie. One with epic music for a super hero movie. You know.
