Reading the DragonBall manga growing really inspired me when i saw Goku training up on Karin's tower or doing gravity training inside the spaceship. He's just so cool.

Definitely OoT Link. I really liked that game, and thought he was the coolest at the time : p I actually used t just play the final battle against Ganon over and over cuz I thought it was like the greatest thing ever, haha. He would have probly been my hero at the time.

I watched alot of tv in my youth, obviously. I cant remember many characters that were that great for me, though. I mean theres Hey, Arnold but I didnt actually get into that until middle school. We did watch Power Rangers growing up, though. And I actually remember that before the Green Ranger appeared I really liked the Blue Ranger.

I cant tell you why, btw : p I have no idea why I liked him, haha.

And of course I thought the Green Ranger was the coolest thing ever : p

Oh, and also I really liked Rita. Like, I was totally fascinated by her : p

Same with Jareth of the Labyrinth, like I thought he was just the most awesome character ever : p I had a weird thing for bad guys growing up : p

And of course like every 90s kid at the time, I watched wrestling with my dad and brothers, and we watched WCW cuz if you watched wrestling at the time you watched WCW : p And if you watched it you either rooted for the n.w.o or Sting, and my older brother and I rooted for Sting : p

As I got older the characters that I REALLY liked changed, too. I watched alot of cartoons after middle school, and of course I really liked Helga Pataki, I always watched it hoping that this episode would be the one where she told Arnold how she felt about him : p

I also really liked The Wild Thornberrys at the time, but my favorite character was Debbie : p Apparently I thought she was super cool at the time, haha.
I havent seen that show in a really long time, but I feel like she wasnt a strong enough character to have liked as much as I liked her. But I dunno, its been a really long time, haha.

I cant really think of any other character that could have been called my "hero" at the time. But for those of you who dont think these qualify as "heroes", I was just a kid, and at that time I didnt really think so much about who I wanted to aspire to be (maybe besides Debbie), they were just characters that I really liked and wanted to see : p

I dont think I ever thought of in terms of who I want to aspire to be until I found out about Armistead Burwell Smith, as I want to do what he does with bass guitar with my bass guitar : p

Yeah, more Mr. Bean would've been a treat. But like many unique British comedies, it stuck to a lower episode count, regardless of popularity (thirteen episodes was quite common). Of course, that didn't happen with all the iconic British comedies, but it was a bit of a tradition to end certain series before they grew stale/'jumped the shark'. Other examples being The Young Ones and Fawlty Towers.

Rowan did make a few more Mr. Bean segments here and there, though. Bean was particularly rotten in this comic relief sketch, where he destroys a wedding...

Phil Collins, Peter Gabriel, Mr.Bean, and Grant Kirkhope are the 4 british horsemen of the apocalypse.

Have not but I would love too, can't get over the fact still that he made a music video with the ultimate warrior himself as well. Phil Collins during the 80s and early 90s was an interesting thing since by that time I believe in his band Genesis not only did Peter Gabriel left to do his own thing, so did Steve Hackett as well. Both of these musicians went on to create singles and albums. Phil wasn't originally going to be the voice of the band since him, and Tony Banks went over dozens upon dozens of vocalists before and couldn't come with an agreement Phil just went ahead and well filled the role himself. Really did make him big to star in quite a bit of things man he can actually act in this clip as well gotta watch it sometime.

Yeah, Phil's story is certainly an interesting one. As far as acting goes, I don't remember him ever doing much, but he popped up here and there in movies, like Stephen Spielberg's Hook.
Most people have forgotten about Buster (outside the UK, anyway), but it was a very controversial movie when it came out. It's based on the The Great Train Robbery of 1963, where a record amount of money was stolen from a hijacked mail train. Phil plays one of the robbers who became a famous folk hero and much-loved rogue to the common man, Buster Edwards.

So that's who Phil Collins plays out as, pretty much like a Goemon type character which are usually very very popular. The event that the film was based on is also rathr interesting since these stories you hear from all over the place, although just keeping it stationed within the UK it made me think of stuff such as Spring Heeled Jack. Who was much to our surprise is another I guess " hooligan " who ran around doing questionable deeds as well, I'll also an informative link about that below as it pretty much jump started comic-like characters in the UK and perhaps over seas as well in the US.

 
And how could I ever forget about these guys?


Mythbusters was for many years my favourite television show, and although I stopped following it some few years back, I still watch an episode when I come across one.
