What will this topic become?

Alot of people make Simpsons references or use videos or gifs from the show, so apparently the people of this site like the show : p Maybe it can become a Simpsons thread.

My favorite episode is the one when Homer joins the Navy, in s9. I dont remember why, but I thought it was great : p

I also liked the episode when Homer becomes the beer baron. One of my favorite gags is when the detective whos trying to catch him is standing on the cliff overlooking Springfield, and he says something like "whoever you are, Beer Baron, I will find you..."
And Homers voice echoes from the distance "no you wont"
and he responds "yes I will..."
and Homers voice again, "wont".

Yep. I've been told I was obsessed with the Simpsons since the age of 1. There's so many funny quotes and such I can remember at the top of my head. x)
 
Haha, same : p I loved that show once : p I dont think its all that great now, but back in the past it was the funniest show ever : p

Nothing represents the 90s better than the Simpsons-

 
It's still alright, just not as funny as it used to be. Older episodes had funny parts all over the place and there was something about the older style of drawing that I liked more. Newer episodes have maybe one or two funny parts in each one.

(Im gonna go ahead and spoil it and tell you Homer won)

And I was reading the comments, and of course alot of people disagree. Someone made the comment of it really just being about 90's kids vs 00's kids. I think thats true : p Kids from the early 2000's would probly naturally pick Peter cuz its what they say growing up, not knowing that he wouldnt even have existed if it werent for Homer : p
 
Maybe. They're both funny, though I'm glad that video chose Homer and I'll always prefer Homer. I think it stands for Jay? Can't remember exactly. It was in an episode.
 
Haha, yeah he went on an adventure to find out what the J stands for, turns out it stood for Jay : p Think it was the episode when he finally met his mother.
 
Remember having this terrible Simpsons' game for the PSX. The entire game is just choppy beyond belief, and pretty much every AI is out for blood, they are relentless so your only choice is to just spam the kick or punch button to win. Things get hectic once you fight tougher locked characters like one of those alien things.

 
Well I think it's obvious what this topic has become now, ha. That ps1 Simpsons game looks funny. I wish I knew about that game back then since I bet it I would've had fun with it despite the flaws.
 
I would love to play that Simpsons wrestling game with someone : p

Simpons has a few good games. I liked their version of grand theft auto, haha. Played it on the gamecube I think. I played it for a good while too. Was a cute game : p

I also used to really like the one where Bart has to spray paint things purple in Springfield to stop an alien invasion on the NES,, we played that game a ton but dont think we ever made it past the first level : p
 
Simpsons had a ton of games that ranged from good to bad to mediocre. Honestly depending on who was developing the game it seemed that's how it'd turn out, Hit and Run is pretty alright sort of like a Crazi Taxi version of the Simpsons.

Simpsons Wrestling is just an oddity of a game it is fun with two players but if you're wanting to play through the arcade or campaign forget it, it's just pretty bland with really bad AI. One of the more interesting Simpsons' games would be the arcade game.
