What's next for the WarioWare series?

So far, it's had a fair few gimmicks over the years. Such as:

  • Gyro controls (WarioWare Twisted)
  • Touch screen/microphone (WarioWare Touched)
  • Motion controls (WarioWare Smooth Moves)
  • The DSi camera (Snapped)
  • Making your own games (WarioWare DIY)
  • And the GamePad (Game & Wario)

But what would a new one have? Would the Nintendo Switch version focus a lot on stuff like HD rumble and Joy-Con controls?

Or would they try and make a game with most the above gimmicks brought back into them? Because the motion controls would work well here, as would the touch screen stuff from Touched.

So what do you think? What's the next step for the Wario series?

I don't know, but I'd like to see a title that uses every feature of the Nintendo Switch with the focus on players that are new to WarioWare or the Switch, or both. And it should have a multiplayer ¨party mode¨ too, because that's what would make it interesting for many newcomers. (I guess.) You should also be able to submit you high scores as well as challenge other players online.

I hope there is a next step. I wanna see the series return with something. I'd certainly buy it; learned the hard way that if a series needs support, I probably should support it to the best of my ability.

Personally I would love to see them do something like Rhythm Heaven Megamix where it takes a shit ton of Mircogames from previous titles and reimagines them using their respective gimmicks (Because hey The Switch can pretty much do them all.) alongside new Microgames made using the Switch's own gimmicks and ideas.

Perhaps a better version of 1,2,Switch?

They could even re work some of its mini games. Like that cow milking one, itfits with WarioWare. That fencing game could be re worked into a boss battle perhaps.

Also its just obvious that they would make use of the HD Rumble in this.

I don't know if it's still appropriate to have new WarioWare games these days.
The idea was fresh when it came out, but it's a dead idea now.
You know, like how casual gaming is a laughing stock now.

If there is another, however slim the chance may be, it could be merely a less shitty 1-2-Switch.
