Wario is my main. Link and Marth are secondaries.

King Dedede and Toon Link. Ness is a close secondary. Mind you, I've only played SSB4...

Mr. Game & Watch for life! Although, Pac Man has some really good moves as well.
Just watched Spirited Away for the first time yesterday, fantastic movie! I can see why some consider it to be Ghibli's best.

Try Porco Rosso of you haven't already, it's the most underrated ghibli imo.

Awesome, that movie is my favorite! I remember when I saw it for the first time in 6th grade and thinking it was the coolest thing ever, but I only recently rewatched it. I wanna get more Studio Ghibli films! I'm thinking of getting My Neighbor Totoro next.

My Neighbor Totoro is most definitely a classic and one I would recommand.
So Nintendo Direct got delayed due to the earthquake huh? now I won't lie. I'm slightly disappointed as I was looking forward to it, but given the current situation in Japan, I can understand why they would delay it and it probably was the right thing to do.

Also, My condolences go to the victims and their familes as well as the people of Hikkaido Japan (And Osaka due to the Typhoon there.), and if any one of you here lives in the hokkaido area or what not (Or Osaka), I truly hope you are alright and safe, because damn...that's rough.
I do wonder from time to time, how would've WarioWare Gold done if instead of being released in 2018, was released in 2013 during the 3DS' hightime instead of Game & Wario on the financial flop that was the Wii U (Or even alongside it), would the series be in a better state then it is currently?

It probably would've done along the same line as Rhythm Heaven Megamix in Japan and much better internationally, probs.

Probably much better. 2013 was one of the years when the 3DS was in its prime, and many Mario spinoffs released around there did amazing numbers (like with Luigi's Mansion Dark Moon and Mario & Luigi Dream Team). Heck, I could see it breaking a million copies sold at that point.

Much better indeed. I mean, 2018. Why did it take so damn long?

Neat, the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe updates really are happening. But yeah, wonder if we'll see some new characters or tracks next?
So I have a curious question, has anyone here actually played Dr Awero Shitan's debut game? The Frog for Whom The Bell Tolls? I don't hear much talk regarding the game despite the doctor originally being in there, so I'm curious regarding if some of you played it and if you have, what are your feelings on it.

Now admittedly, I'm not the most familar with the game myself as I never played it, outside of a couple of characters, the gameplay engine being reused for Link's Awakening and the incredible soundtrack. (Seriously, the overworld theme is some good shit. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wiPc6W2p-so) but it looks very interesting and I may check it out one of these days. (Not in the short term or anything, but it's on my bucket list.)

I did, in fact me replaying the game recently is why I made the Arewo/Scienstein thread.

It's a unique and charming little Game Boy RPG/Adventure game hyprid, with a good story, some really nice tunes and an interesting take on the genre, since battling is done automatically, so exploring and finding items that increase your stats is the name of the game.

I also really like the 2D dungeon segments they are actually the inspiration for the 2D sections in Link's Awakening, since both games use the same engine.

I love it, plain and simple, really glad that the english patch exists.

I had no idea it used LA's engine, woah. I did know that one of it's characters appears in LA; Ralph.

Well, Carrey does have experience with playing crazy characters (including villains). And he's often used heavy prosthetics and makeup in the movies he's been in. So I can see him pulling off a decent looking version of Dr Robotnik/Eggman. But the movie in general sounds like a trainwreck waiting to happen, since as Magma says, they just don't seem to understand anything about the Sonic series or what makes it Sonic. Kind of reminds me a bit of the Mario movie to be honest...
I have just played and finished Wario Land 4 for the first time and I feel pretty bad for not playing it in the past. Because god damn, What a great game it is.

As much as I like the movie adapatations and all that by Warner Bros and I think it was ultimately the right choice at the end of the day, there is a part of me that does fancy what could have Harry Potter been like under Nintendo instead.

I heard this story. Really interesting what could have been. But still, in the licenced videogames we got, the first 3 games were really fun, and OotP / HBP had an amazing explorable castle.

It keeps Labyrinth's overall aesthetics but the slight mechanical touch makes it more fitting for Scrap Brain as well as a trap made by Dr Eggman then the simpler recolored Labyrinth we got in the actual game. I don't know, it just looks more visually interesting in my personal opinion.
