  • Anyone remember those rumors about that Nintendo & Disney deal from a year or two back, now despite it most likely being fake, I do wonder how something like that would have worked out?

It's a terrible delusion to live by. For years my sleeping schedule was non-existent. Now I go to sleep at 9PM and rise at 5:20AM. The days are longer, productive, and every morning I feel like a new man. Totally indestructible.

@TB100 Sleep deprivation is a huge contributor to lacking confidence. I've not only read about it, I know from personal experience.

There's a lot of stats to back it up. Your immune system gets weaker. Your mind turns into a mess. Plus, you can't grow muscle if you don't have adequate sleep.
So This is just a random silly little question, but what's a food that you can eat every day without getting sick of it? For me that's PB&J's. seriously I can eat those sandwiches every day without ever getting tired of them. (Pizza, Ice Cream and Macaroni & Cheese are also foods I can chow down on most days without getting sick of them.)
So I have a question regarding Mona's crush on Wario, now I know it exists in both Japan & America, but it seems that her reasons for crushing on Wario tend to differ between the two, like in the west she likes him for his wild personality, ("He's Always one degree ahead of cool.") but in Japan she apparently likes him simply because his nose is cute, is this the case? or am I just crazy?

Yes, there is indeed a difference. I always thought the western reason to be the canon one. But the Japanese one is funnier :)

Happy Mario Day everybody! (or as it should be called, Wario Day! WAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!)
I'm not getting the Switch till either later this year or 2018, *ends up getting the Switch at midnight.* OH GODDAMMIT!!!!
I'm curious about something, but how do you think everyone will react to a new console created by both Nintendo & Sega. (I know that's unrealistic as hell, but it'll be interesting to see.)

Id love that, actually : p Though Im not sure how it would be any different than a Nintendo console?
I love the idea of the two collaborating on video games, though. I know Sega has come to Nintendo with an idea for a Sonic meets Mario platformer/adventure kinda game. I understand why Nintendo said no, as the two franchises are so different, but I think if they really tried, they could pull it off. Id love to see the two share a game together. I think they could EASILY pull it off with a Mario RPG type game.

Well for one thing I don't think anyone will really be shocked. I mean they're already crossed many boundaries people would think of as unheard of in the 90s.

Uh hey I have a question regarding the N64 controller, so I got banjo kazooie today, but I noticed that in order to make him go at a fast pace, I have to hold the analog stick very hard just to have him not walk, is this normal for a N64 controller to have that? Or is there a problem with my controller?
    Dangerous Duck

Are you new to N64, TB? You have to take very good care of the stick. There is a manufacturing flaw which causes it to deteriorate over time from excessive force, making the stick loose and unresponsive.
You should definitely read up about it. It's important for all N64 owners to know.

Thats the one thing I hate about the N64 controller. I wish the control stick wasnt a piece of junk : p
I miss the N6 days, though. Wish I could go back and experience the days when it was brand new and exciting again : p

Wow, I was watching a video on it, and It's stupid on how Nintendo designed it, seriously this is definitely not a long term controller in the slightest, (Though I'll give them some slack considering that this is one of the first controllers to even use analog control.) So I might either get a replacement joystick and repair it, get a replacement controller, or build my money up and get one of those hori mini pads, (I heard nothing but good things about them, but damn they're expensive.)
You know what i want to see now that we got Hyrule Warriors and with Fire Emblem Warriors announced? a Super Smash Warriors!

That would be interesting, I did enjoy Hyrule Warriors, although the game gets repetitive and boring after a while, I still play it today to finish the maps. I'm still debating if I should get Fire Emblem Warriors or not, because of the repetitive gameplay. Although I admit, it would be fun to see a Smash Bros Warrior some day, if the Warriors series gets the same attention as it did when Hyrule Warriors came out.
Hey guys, me and my family are going to take a vacation in the next couple of days, so don't expect me to post much both here or the discord, i'll be back soon and I'll still post every now & then. (Mostly when i'm not doing anything.)
In case you want to know, the "I don't care for it" vote was from me if that had any impact on you deciding to delete that thread.

Well, I can't force anything unto you but going off of what I said the other day, I encourage you to take ownership of your thoughts and opinions.
Yo brudda, you should probably be less self conscious of your posts and just cut loose.
You know, when it comes to the Rhythm Heaven esque designs for the Crew, i think i hate the rosy cheeks and the shading more then i do the actual designs.
Random Question: Do you think Wario is the kind of guy that gambles?

Not sure if the man gambles personally, but he certainly exercises that option in the first two Wario Land games. (The bucket and bat chance minigames where you can double, triple, quadruple your earnings - or lose it)

So this is probably going to be controversial, but how do you think Mario's world would view homosexuality as a whole?
    The 3rd Wario Brother
    The 3rd Wario Brother
They seem like a friendly lot, I'm suee they're quite excepting. As for none friendly ones, Still excepting actually, sounds weird but i can't see them being discriminatory towards gays.
    King Hehehe
    King Hehehe
They seem pretty accepting of transsexuality in that world, given how Birdo and Vivian are treated pretty well by the everyone besides Vivian's sisters, who are pretty mean people in general. It's not much of a stretch to say that homosexuality would also be treated pretty fairly by most.
    CM30
    CM30
I doubt Wario would care, since he only cares if money is involved. Villains don't care unless homosexuality helps or hinders being 'evil', since very few of them have any real 'motive' in the Mushroom Kingdom. But normal people? I'd say they would probably be fine with it there, though we're never exactly going to find out given how little sexuality is mentioned in the Mario series.
Okay I'll just get my thoughts on the whole Ashley thing out of the way right now, this is honestly a very shitty thing for Nintendo to do. Look I get that she is miss popular and what not, but that doesn't mean Nintendo should just pretend the others don't exist because one just happens to be more popular then the others. They should give the others somewhat equal attention. Maybe Ashley could get a bit more attention then the rest, but the fact that Nintendo is just ignoring and are pretending that the others don't exist is just shitty.

I used to go on big rants on how much I hate the current treatment of WarioWare and it's extended cast and I really do still hate it, but at this point I'm too numb and don't have enough passion about the subject anymore to talk about it at lenght, off course I'd love for things to get better, I just don't have an ounce of faith in Nintendo anymore to go that way, goes to show how disappointing all of this is to me
While the Switch presentation definitely could had been handed better then it did, I think Nintendo should get some kind of slack for it. it's their first real live presentation in almost five years, (not counting events like the Nintendo World Championship or the Smash Tourney.) so it's obviously not gonna be up to Nintendo's previous live presentations, and because it's a local press of course there's gonna be some barrier problems, and awkwardness, and considering that Nintendo has successfully hosted the stream with little problems despite the hiccups here and there, is definitely impressive. (Especially since it's their first live presentation in awhile.) Plus there have been much worse streams then this. (Konami's E3 presentation from 2010, and Sonic's 25th anniversary stream from 2016 comes to mind.) So while Nintendo could had hold it better, it's definitely not as bad as people make it out to be.
