What do you want in the next Wario Land title?

Instead of talking: when does it come out? Were gonna talk about what you, we, us want in the next Wario Land title. Maybe new characters introduced? Gameplay like the original Wario Land? Portable or on a homeconsole? You can say all those things in this thread!

I would like a handheld entry. When it would be on 3ds, preferably no motion controlled things, because they seem to mess those things up very fast. Maybe it would be cool to have a combination of the first wario land and the later ones, so both with power ups and transformations caused by various things.
I think the ability to die would be good, it would work the same as it did in sml 3.
I think a syrup revisit would be good, and a storyline somewhat like how they did it in WLII, with hidden turns to the story, unlocking special levels. There have to be checkpoints at certain points like a little while before the bosses and at the middle of the level. The bosses should not be in a seperate level like they were in wl4. I'm not sure yet how the treasure collecting should go.

Ok, to me, a good Wario Land game should be single player. They got it almost right with Wario Land Shake It, just needed a bit more craziness, I guess...
I just want to see a game with the same amount of content of Wario Land 2, the cool mechanics of Wario Land 3 and the craziness of Wario Land 4.
As for characters, bring back Capt. Syrup and/or the professor from Wario Land 4, add new ones to the series, a new villan or just use Capt. Syrup as the antagonist. I kind of liked Capt. Syrup as the rival in Wario Land Shake It, but I wish even then they had more interaction. I loved defeating her nonesense plans in Wario Land 2. Don't overdo it, just use what it worked before.

As for platform, Nintendo 3DS or WiiU are just fine, no real preference there.

I still want a Wario Land game with WarioWare elements, like puzzles based upon microgames or maybe even a WarioWare character (most possibly Mona) as an additional player.

And of course, Captain Syrup must be in the game. I did like to see the WarioWare, Inc. headquarters as one of the levels.:)

A nice, long game with excellent replay value like Wario Land 3 and the wackiness of Wario Land 4. With transformations and health like in 4.

I'd also prefer it to be a handheld game, because to me that's where Wario's home is. I still liked Wario World and kinda liked Shake It (not as much as I should), but yeah.

It should be a handheld game with a character roster, where you unlock minigames by searching & beating some kind special bosses, the minigames could be a reference to the characters that appear in the game, like:
  • Waluigi's Pinball
  • Wrecking Crew
  • Crazy Taxi with Dribble & Spitz
  • Tell which treasure is real
  • Dr. Mario (They showed Wario land 3 enemies in the N64 version, why not?)
Not only the level design should be a traditional game, but mixing other formulas from other games (like beat and run from arcade games) and mixing forgotten characters with the popular ones, the game could a groundbreaker like Donkey Kong Country.
