WarioWare vs WarioLand in terms of plot, gameplay, and characters?

Wario Fan Supreme
Wario Land is superior to me for many reasons.

I was first introduced to Wario Ware but as I grow older the meaning of Wario Land and it's eccentric and self-serving quality appeals to me and fits what I want to see now.

Wario is selfish but he still has a lovable and charming quality so you don't get too disgusted with it, he's a refreshing character with a lot more character depth than most of the Mario (and WarioWare) cast imo.

As far as gameplay goes, WW is pretty creative but I like WL better. I don't know why. I kind of have a thing for platformers.

Wario Land by far. Gameplay is no contest; I love WarioWare, but I absolutely think Wario Land 4 is one of the best games ever made in this respect.

Plot... they're both more 'random things that happen' than story heavy, but I like how 'honest' Wario Land is about the hero's motivations. Most games are about saving the world and helping people. Wario Land is all about the money and no more.

Characters are a bit of a draw. I think the WarioWare cast are great, and I think the Wario Land game casts are great too. The former probably gets more 'depth' since they appear in more than one or two games at a time, but both series have interesting characters in them.

A tough call to make especially without saying stuff that's either already been said before or doesn't really add anything to the discussion. I like both series a lot but I would give the extra edge to the Wario Land series due to its more extensive gameplay even if the last 2 entries felt kind of short. One thing I like from both is how they try to keep the entries fresh by introducing new things, with the Wario Land series evolving more in this aspect since the gameplay has changed quite a lot from the first game.

As most Wario fans, I prefer Wario Land, but I think you cannot really compare Land with Ware.
They are so different from each other. For instance, Wario Land is a typical platformer series where you have to move the characther ( Wario) across obstacles, puzzles, and bosses.
WarioWare is a completely different concept. Its about you completing microgames and complete the boss minigames at the end.

I like both of them. The characters in Land disn't really stick to me, though the gameplay is great. I don't think you can really compare them in terms of gameplay. One is like a fun frantic time waster and the othe is a puzzle platformer. As for the plot, both are basically cookie cutter plots, and you can't make any solid examples of development without speculation.

I wouldn't necessarily throw out the plots due to them being rather minimal since I do think they do a nice job of showing off a bit of Wario's character in both series. The plots aren't meant to be the centerpiece of course but for what they are I think they complement the series and Wario well.

Well, then for plots I'd say Land has better stories. It is usually different every time, while Ware has the same plot every time, except for Snapped and D.I.Y. Even though the employees came back in Game and Wario.
