Is the Wild Swing-Ding in Brawl?

So, as some of you may know, Wario's side throw in Brawl was spinning around the foe by their ankles and tossing them in a direction. Although, I find it to look similar particularly to the Wild Swing-Ding from Wario World.

Does anyone else find it possible that Sakurai would reference such an obscure game from the lineup of Wario platformers? Especially when Wario is based on his WarioWare appearance?

It is! Kid Icarius was obscure, and Pit and it in!

I dunno why people hate on brawls move set.

TheSwing-a-DIng and Shoulder Bash are from Land/World.

The Bike and Bite are from Ware.

And the fart is from WMOD

Sure, some moves ar ebad up, but it doesn't have to represent just his games, but his PERSONALITY,

I use the throw as a defense that there is representation in his move set

What's WMOD?

Wario: Master of Disguise. But he doesn't fart in that game. Farts may have been mentioned as a joke but that's no reason to make a move out of it.
Master of Disguise only reinforced the notion that Wario is all about toilet humor.
Wario Ware started it but MoD made it worse.
But that's just the thing: Just because Wario Ware had toilet humor in it doesn't mean Wario's personality should be focused around it.

Well I know it certainly (almost) is his back throw in Smash 3DS. Very similar to Mario's back throw which imitates his Bowser throw in Super Mario 64. They could very well be related however it more closely is probably because Wario is the exaggerated version of Mario. Both their down specials require charging up, Mario has exaggerated fist and head sizes but are still smaller than Wario's. Their up specials are both multi hit moves. Their down air's are both multi hit moves too, just Wario's looks more silly.
