This section shouldn't be called "Cameo Games" since they technically aren't cameos.

It should be "Guest Appearances" since a cameo is a brief appearance while a Guest Appearance means they play a big role in the game.

There's a significant difference. Cameo suggest Wario appears for a second at one point in the game and is never seen beyond that point. If he is consistantly in the game it's not a cameo.

I'd say call the section "Other Appearances" since it would include all small references, cameos, and guest appearances in one.

Thanks. You know since games like Wario's Woods are in this section too it could simply be called "Other Games". I'm just shooting ideas out there. I'm sure we can come up with something better.

Also would a game like Pilotwings 64 be discussed here? Wario doesn't actually appear himself but his face does.
 
Pilotwings is probably a stretch to be honest. Not really a physical appearance of any Wario character, not a reference in the form of say, an item or enemy or location.

But if people want it called Other Games or Other Wario Games, that could be fine I guess.
 
Are there many easter eggs that reference the Wario series in other games? I guess that Starfy reference could be one, but I don't remember too many others...
 
That Starfy one is unusual. He's more than just an Easter Egg, he actually interacts with Starfy and helps him through a level. I'd say that's a Cameo but not a Crossover like Smash Bros.

But I think you're right. There aren't many Easter Eggs for Wario. Tons for other Nintendo series but not Wario. What a shame.
 
Oh that's pretty cool. We should definitely have someone post comics and mangas about Wario sometime.

Oh I lost track of the topic... heh.

Anyway what do you guys think? I think calling it "Other Wario Games" makes the most sense since it covers all kinds of games Wario is in that aren't Land or Ware series.
