You know what should be in it? 9-Volt's Gamer stage from Game & Wario!! With the microgames on the bottom screen, and what's going on with 5-Volt and everyone and everything on the top screen. I'll be able to try to avoid demon mom's evil stare while microgaming WITHOUT A TV... or do it at all, cuz Wii Us are expensive... I think.

You know, since the voice acting bullet point for the game hints it will probably have a bigger storyline focus, I'm bizarely invested in the idea of it showing the warioware characters acutally making video games

i can't be the only one to want to see jimmy t's mastery of assembly code right

Eh, I doubt they'd use Assembly Code for making games. Probably something like C++ instead.

Then again, given it's WarioWare Inc we're talking about, using a visual tool like Game Maker or Multimedia Fusion seems more up their alley...

what if

the european version had all the twisted minigames removed because that game was never released there due to not passing safety regulations or something
:Sweetjesus: That doesn't make any sense whatsoever. :ShakesHead:

It wasn't released in europe because of the hardware, not the software.

So why would they act like the game itself never existed? :S:U:

Lately I've been really obsessed with this song:

I really hope this one is included in the game.
It's so frustrating that there's no high quality version of this that has all 4 versions at full length.
There's one that has all 4 but it's really short.
And there's one that is long but only has 2 versions.
And there's one that's long, has all versions, but isn't high quality. :S<:[:

Positives:
  • It's a Wario game!
  • It's on 3DS (Could've been Switch but who cares)
  • It's a Microgame collection with 300 microgames! (Just like RH Megamix)
  • Showcases the 3DS capabilities as always!
Negatives:
  • Looks ugly
  • Looks slow
  • Sounds really lax (where's the bounciness of past games?)
Honestly, it's bittersweet. I hope the trailer is just kinda not giving the game justice. As I mentioned before, even Game & Wario looked better.
Agree on all the positives, and the first two negatives. The animations for a lot of the games seem too smooth, as well. The kinda jerky, stop-motion/flipbook feel that you got in most cases was one of the things that I didn't even realize I liked as much as I do until seeing the animation for the latest entries. I also dislike the really rounded, matte quality some sprites have, or the smoothness of some of the graphics. It feels too clean and reminds me of iTunes and its horrid, homogeneous look (one of the downsides of the line between WW and Rhythm Heaven being blurred).

I'm definitely gonna get the game, and probably love it to death, but the graphics probably won't ever feel like WarioWare (with its pixelated art styles that were unique to each programmer, drawing a parallel to WarioWare's in-game origins) to me. I still like all the WarioWares, but Mega Microgames will always be THE WarioWare to me.

Yeah I agree, this masterpiece should definitely return! Maybe even in the form of some epic retro throwback stage. Four Seasons should also return.

Yeah, both Drifting Away and Four Seasons were great songs, and I'd love to hear them back.

Then again, I'd love to see a proper music player for the series in general. Maybe have one with all the famous vocal songs from the previous WarioWare games available to hear, in a style similar to the record player from WarioWare Touched's toy room.

Nintendo could have made a enhanced Switch version of Warioland 4 or maybe 5 since mostly their franchises are what's keeping the console a float despite of Wii U remakes for the system. I do not want another warze game but another platformer. Maybe Nintendo is testing Wario's popularity by releasing the game on the 3DS, and will make a game for the Switch if WWG proves to be successful.

Maybe we need to crowd fund a decent platformer or better (RPG) for that matter.

There's still plenty of time left for it to be released, but it being about 2 months since it was announced and pretty much no fanfare from Nintendo since then has me a bit worried as to how Nintendo feels about WarioWare.

Well, it seems clear Miyamoto doesn't care for it much.

But yeah, the lack of updates the game is getting is indeed worrying.

Also there was a huge difference between how the game looked at E3 and after that gap. Kinda gives hope.
Yeah, I'm hoping they only showed it off because they needed some more games for that Nintendo Direct, and that they were fairly early in development.
I don't want them to rush out the game. They need to take their time and make it worthwile!
I mean the last WarioWare game that wasn't a weird spin-off came out in 2006! It would be a huge waste to just make a "good enough" game now.

I'm really looking forward to Treehouse after the E3 Direct this year. I just KNOW they'll play Gold! They always use 3DS games as filler before they show off whatever game the show is "themed" after again, which I assume this year will be Smash. If they have any taste at all, we'll see Ashley's cutscenes/games. I can't wait to hear her say more than just "hocus pocus" after beating a microgame.

Woah, I didn't realise E3 was so soon.
