Introducing Robin

Also, I should add:
Gay men are proud to be men.
Transgenders, on the other hand it's the opposite. I love women and I may continue to love women, I think. But I can't be sure of my sexual orientation if I never loved myself in the first place.

I've felt like adding something twice, but eh... not sure if it's relevant, or welcome.
I dunno why you say that. Everyone has their own opinion and you're free to let it be known. I mean it's up to you really.

Transgender or sexuality confused video game characters.

In the SMB2 instruction manual it states tha the character birdo is a boy but thinks he's a girl. Since 1988 when this came out in the US until now, Nintendo has made Birdo female, and in Japan Birdo is named Catherine, and birdo has female voice in the GBA remake of SMB2 which the main protagonist too have voice overs.

How many are familiar with Bonk the bald headed caveman who originally was from the Turbograffix 16? There were two Bonk games that one appeared on both American and Japanese Nintendo systems, and a sequal that only made it on the Super Famicom which featured a power-up that changed Bonk into a gender swapped Ballerina. Because of this, Nintendo never published that game outside of Japan which is a shame because it's a very fun game to play.

So what does this say about Nintendo? You decide.

It's not about Nintendo, it's about the region itself. Japan is more open to that sort of topic. But where did this come from?

Half a year ago I played a game with an (although not clearly stated) lesbian character. This was the fist time for me that I ever encountered such a thing in a video game, and it has changed my thoughts ever since.

This came from the original SMB2 manual and a Bonk import video game from which I own. And the Bonk game was not released in America because of gender swapping Bonk.

She meant in terms of the discussion. d:p What you were saying wasn't really relevant to the topic (Robin herself).

See? You get it! Although this would make a rather interesting topic on its own. (I think there's one already, actually)
