Well, it's finally here! As promised back when XenForo was upgraded, a new shop system has been added to the forums.

But this isn't any old shop system. Oh no, it's significantly more advanced than the previous one we had here at Wario Forums.

That's because not only can you buy fancy items to display in your postbit and profile, but you can also:

  • Buy items that change your forum experience, like giving you a new username style, a new post style, a post background or MP3 player in your profile
  • Set up your own shops and sell your own virtual items. You then get coins for every purchase people make there.
  • Trade items to other people on the forums.
  • Attempt to steal items from other users
  • Put coins in the bank to protect them from being stolen (and withdraw them later)
Plus various other things we haven't added and may add in future, like a lottery for virtual forum items and coins.

So yeah, have fun. Just try not to destroy the whole forum with the system, okay?

I dig that WARIO Forums has a "steal" option :WLThumbsUp:

I checked out the shop tab and was awaiting this thread, i think i got a hint of how hipsters feel.
 
Pretty sure if a user creates a custom item for their shop, and another user buys it, the latter will still be able to sell it back and the former might end up losing coins from it.

Thanks for clarifying it yes just wanted to ask how a member could make a shop with items they can sell themselves.

More over shouldn't the CD background music item be a wario land 4 CD instead of a chest?

Yeah, the CD probably should be.

As for creating items, you have to go to Item Management in the Shop menu.

Are points used yet? If so, how are they earned?
