Yeah for some odd reasons the button mashing games are easier when things are sped up. I bet they wanted people to be able to beat them even when the speed is high so they make it that you have to mash the button less times. But I feel like they over did it and the games become easier when it's faster.

The mission "Wield the Wedge" is killing me. :SDead:
I must be doing something wrong...
I hit the ball into a hole exactly 5 times and got a score of exactly 25 but for some reason I still didn't get the mission.
It's so hard and there's so little room for error and it's so hard to judge how hard you have to hit the ball sometimes... :SScared:
Any tips?
I tried hitting it into a water hole 5 times and into a bottomless pit 5 times, but still no result...

Edit: This is now the very last mission I need (besides the stupid multiplayer missions >.< ) so It's so frustrating that it's not even working!

Apparently "hole" in golf terms means "sand". Yes I misunderstood at first... So you must put the ball in the Yellow part 5 times

WHAT? ...OH COME ON! D:<
Why couldn't they say sand hole? Or sand trap? Or sand bunker? OR JUST MENTION SAND IN ANY WAY?
Not everyone is familiar with golf jargon! They can't just expect everyone to know this!
When I read "hole" and I see a literal hole, I PRESUME THEY ARE REFERRING TO SAID HOLE! D8<
Ugh, what were they thinking? :Sheadsmack:
If I didn't have you telling me this I would've fruitlessly tried making this stupid challenge for hours and hours.
So thank you very much for explaining this!

You're welcome. I had to switch my console language to understand the meaning of the challenge, fortunately in the italian version there was written "bunker"

Wow. That's some pretty bad localization on NOA's part then.
I just checked the german translation and it calls it a bunker as well. At least if you don't know what "bunker" is referring to in the context of golf, you can look it up. There are no other types of bunkers in the game after all. :p But there's no way to know that "hole" isn't referring to the actual holes unless you already do.

Edit: Btw, for some reason the german version (and other Pal versions too, I presume) don't have the "Ladies and Gentlmem! Let's Dancing!" voice line in Wario de Mucho. No replacement either. Just the music.

Well, I guess I got my wish with the whole gacha machine thing when it comes to the cards. It's gotten pretty addicting to me.

The only missions I'm missing now are the multiplayer ones... :S3:

Has anyone here actually managed to play the multiplayer? It sounds kind of... really basic...
You're not really interacting with each other while you play, so you might as well just play for a high score in singleplayer...
It doesn't sound anywhere as fun as the modes in Mega Party Game$... :SHuh:

Here I am again, I was also able to play "BattleTime", the multiplayer mode.
Basically you decide how many lives you have, the League both Will play and the first Who dies while doing the same microgames, loses. That's It: No Interaction. At the least both players play at the same time and the developers remembered to put a multiplayer mode. Stil enjoyable

Huh, that's strange. My copy of WW Gold is European too, as it has the CE logo on it and reads ¨EUR¨ in the code on the front, but I still can hear this line in the boss microgame.

Which language you chose for your 3ds?
I've been playing in the english pal version and I've always heard the beginning. Now I tried chosing italian and there's not that line

It's not there in the german version, but it's there when I set it to english. I meant non-english PAL translations, when I said other PAL versions.
I haven't tried the other languages like french or spanish and such.

Wonder why it's not there? Most people in those regions can understand at least that much English, and translating a single line wouldn't be very difficult either.

It's not that strange.

Only Japanese is allowed to have gratuitous amounts of English (technically Engrish since, y'know "Let's dancing")

They probably kept it in the English version due to it being passable English.
