Seems like Nintendo's official answer to whether Master of Disguise (and likely World) are Wario Land games is a resounding yes.

(It also hints that Nintendo could add more Wario Land content in future installments, since the series actually has a label in game now rather than being lumped under WarioWare or what not).

So yeah, thoughts?

I find this choice interesting! They could have just said from the "Wario series," after all, they didn't have to place it as "Wario Land." But I'm not upset about this categorization; MoD has always struck me as a Land-adjacent game, although it was always a black sheep. Now I'm wondering what World's treatment is/would be.

I still say no. That was probably what they decided to put it under for convience. World however, is DEFINITELY a Land game, the title just wants to make it seem expansive and open (which is good!).

You are all wrong. Mario and Wario, if you consider it a Wario game, is the worst. You'd think it's about Mario and Wario teaming up, but no, Wario throws a bucket on Mario's head, and that's it.
