In my opinion they really should redo his lines to make them sound more energetic and even add in dialogue (especially for his throws) so his vocabulary doesn't only consist of "Wa" and "GO".

It definitley wasn't as extreme as Smash though. Plus he still had a slightly high voice in Charles Martinet's Instagram videos.

Wario's voice has always been kind of high pitched. The only times it wasn't were in the Smash Bros. games, which were imo thw worst portrayals of Wario even though Charles Martinet voiced him there. It's too deep and makes him off to be a dumb fat guys who farts and makes "Wa" noises.

Dang, looks like I'm gonna have to memorize those cutscenes now.

I feel like the changes like removing the pay-to-continue would work better if they changed the direction of the game a bit. I think there could be a Coin Bank that holds coins you got in previous levels so that you wouldn't lose them. Having a lot of coins in a Wario game just feels great.
