It really isn't of equal importance to the forums themselves, it's just a chat room. The forums and discussion come first.

And you know what? I agree. Like I said before, there are some great people who I've met and developed friendships with because of the shoutbox. But it also causes loads of problems for the forums, mostly distracting members from actual discussion (you know, the whole point of the forum)...

Can't say I disagree. I've met some great people in the shoutbox and every once in a while we'll even have a nice serious discussion or debate. But it's eating up the attention of members here and colossally slowing down real discussion in the threads. It's also been the source of much drama...
