Wario Land could really stand to incorporate Ashley and the other WarioWare characters. And also Waluigi. Actually forget the WarioWare characters and forget Wario and just make Waluigi Land.

I'd be all over this if WayForward was the one making it. I have a feeling they would make a young witch like Ashley look adorable. Of course I might just be saying this because I've been playing Wendy: Every Witch Way and Sabrina the Animated Series on Gameboy Color lately.

It's definitely Wario's most dismal generation since his inception. Granted, all I really care about is getting more Wario Land games and getting Wario's shoulder charge in Super Smash Bros. Anything less than that may as well be nothing in my eyes.

I like the mismatched sprites look. It makes the game feel way more nostalgic than if they'd used a bunch of fan-made sprites.

Virtual Boy Wario Land is the one major Nintendo release that I'm worried I might never get to play. I need Nintendo to release it just for the sake of my OCD, if nothing else (though of course there's plenty else, since it's a great game in its own right).

I've never been quite clear on which of the two, SNES or GBA, was the more powerful. I mean, the GBA handles most of the SNES's Mario games perfectly, except for Yoshi's Island which has some slowdown and lacks the FX Chip effects. But the Donkey Kong Country games had to be watered way down in...

It really annoys me that Nintendo seems to be so reluctant to release multiple versions of a game on Virtual Console (I think Super Mario Advance is the first time they've done it?). I don't understand it, since they should WANT us to buy multiple versions of their games.

That's true. I mean take Wario's flirtatious rival, Captain Syrup, who's every bit as confidant and ambitious as Wario is.

Lobo from the DC universe. Like Wario, he's a ballsy anti-hero who does what he feels like and can be either an enemy or an ally depending on whether or not it benefits him at the time.

Waluigi talks big but he comes across as a poser. Waluigi doesn't realize that the key to getting others to believe in him is that he first needs to believe in himself.

Yet Waluigi has a shnozz that rivals if not surpasses that of Wario, and yet somehow no women ever fall in love with poor Waluigi. The difference is of course that Waluigi lacks the confidence, ambition, and money necessary to make women even bother to take a look at his glorious nose.

Haha! This kind of stuff is exactly why Wario has such an entertaining personality compared to the main Super Mario cast. Little touches like this that have nothing to do with gameplay (and thus would be deemed superfluous by Miyamoto, it seems) but just help to make the character you're playing...
