Maybe if Hiroji Kiyotake helps direct it with Next Level Games, there could be potential afterall he wasn't involved with Shake It! and that may had been really why it doesn't stand out from the other Wario titles. I mean if you take a look at Zelda BotW, it turned out to be a pretty great game...

Because the only thing Shake It does well is its art, its gameplay is watered down from 4 and nothing is memorable. All of Good-Feel games are like this, they make decent games that generally play safe but all of them are always forgotten pretty quickly, if the other games they made are anything...

Considering how boring Shake It! is as a whole, I'd hope not.

I know this is an old nerco thread but I've once mentioned that in this time and age, the original game just hasn't aged well at all and there's very little incentive to play through it anymore compare to the rest of the series. I'm not saying its bad, but it is also not something I'd ever...

Yes, this is old news to us speedrunners. Our beloved AaronDobbe (Part of the Wario Speedrun Discord) has been working on this for quite some time and talks about his progress often he has given us different seeds to try for various testing, we are all looking forward to this being completed...

Speaking of that, that's not entirely surprising for Wario Land 2 and 3. It's pretty hard to really do a lot with it since the games are more puzzle based than anything (both which are designed extremely well using every idea they probably could've), aside of making harder versions of both games...

No idea, though I consider those ROM hacks extremely lazy unless the character swap has something to do with the hack being completely different and new (as in this new character has new behaviors and abilities that isn't just mimicking Wario). Honestly, doing a character swap (or model swap)...

I personally wouldn't want a remaster, I would prefer an entirely new game. I'm aware people nowadays want remakes/ports/remasters but I don't even after 20 years. There is nothing wrong with the original game(s), I'm okay if they are re-released on a VC. I just would prefer developers to...

I will pass this on to Vlacksr in the future when it becomes much more complete. He's pretty much the classic Wario Land god speedrunner and I'm sure he'd love to give this a go.

In terms of just the fight part of a final boss? Shake It wins easily. The worst? Black Jewel.
