I personally think it's a better game than II, but not as good as 3. II has aged like milk in my opinion, especially the animation and sprites.

I at least wish they would reference it in the main Mario series like they do with Yoshi's Island and Donkey Kong Country.

Wario Land: Shake It. It has a much better artstyle and animation, and no toilet humor (I'd rather that be exclusive to the WarioWare series).
