Ah, that is a good point. True, most people don't have fond memories of individual microgames. But I'm sure they'll make something new for the Switch. Its hardware is versatile enough to warrant a new WarioWare title, isn't it?

Seeing them come out with Mario Party: The Top 100 just made me think about this. Of course, it would be a compilation of microgames from past games. But...how would they be grouped? Who would have which groups? Or should it be more of a "WarioWare Megamix"? Where there's a story to follow...

This could be because of the different teams handling a Wario game each time. Wario World = Treasure Master of Disguise = Suzaku Shake It = Good-Feel The original team behind Wario Land 1~4 has moved onto WarioWare from that point (All WW games after the first were jointly made with IS)...

He is one of the most inconsistently handled characters there is, right next to DK. Mario and the others are upheld to strict guidelines when someone else handles them. But no matter who handles Wario, it's like, yeah just do whatever the fuck you like with him.

Yeah, I always found the transition from WL4 to WarioWare to be really weird. Especially seeing him head into a most unprecedented venture right after another treasure quest.
