The idea was discussed here, but it didn't really go anywhere. I wouldn't mind an IRC chat personally.

That being said, if we do get one, we should prolly think about scheduling chatmeets, as I don't think the forum has enough regulars or meatbag guests to sustain consistent activity.

I was more curious in what we would actually talk about. Very rarely do topic-based chat rooms ever stay on topic. It could be a Wario-themed chat, but one could peek in and see someone talking about Halo or something. Defeats the purpose.

To be honest, no one expects a chat to stay 100% on topic.

It's certainly not gonna put anyone off the site.

Type in /nick (name you want), and then "/msg nickserv help" if you'd like to register one.
